I am a contractor who drives heavily in the phoenixville area so my work van needs to be the most reliable it possibly can be. I have had it cared for by Kelly Chevrolet since I moved here with no problems, an honest diagnosis and steep prices. But if I want the best, that's why I pay it. When this place became videon I continued to take my vehicle there, and some things developed. First my belt wouldn't stop squealing on cold days. They changed it and it be quiet for a week, then it would start again. Every oil change I asked them to fix it. Every time they charged me to fix it. It still has not gone away. No big deal, maybe it can't be. When my power steering sprang a leak, they diagnosed it as bad hose, a four hundred dollar fix. No problem. However the leak didn't stop. Mind you they quoted the price to fix it, I paid it, it wasn't fixed. Mistake on their part right? So call them, and I did. They said bring it to them. I left it there all day and they can't find the leak, so they said they put dye in it and if it happens again, they can find it. When my power steering reservoir was empty yet again a few weeks later I fill it again and go back. They don't even want to deal with it and everyone shrugs. They change my oil and tell me my battery is undervolted and needs to changed. Wierd saying that to an electrician having a thourough knowledge of how batteries work. I metered it standing and under load, of course it was fine. Upon finding a new mechanic, turns out a booster on top of the 400 dollar hose they charged me to fix was leaking fluid all over it. 600 dollar fix on top of the 400 spent on a part that didn't even need to be done. When you screw up you stand behind your work, admit your wrong and make it right. Their ridiculous prices for the quality of service is one thing, to have a combined intelligence of a jiffy lube crew and worst of all not even have the integrity to make it right is disgusting. If I pulled crap like that I'd still be serving jail time. They are thieves, and that's why they got this crappy review. I can only hope the reviews that follow put this service department in the toilet where it belongs.
