Absolutely Amazing

I was looking to purchase a car relatively quick after mine had broke down. Found one I loved and after some time being fixed up and consistent messaging with the representative Derek, I got the car I’ve always wanted to couldn’t be happier. Amazing dealership and with all my thanks to Derek for helping my first car buying experience be one to compare the rest to. 11/10

Great experience

Had a great experience with buying my first cat at MB Motors. I bought a 2014 Ford Escape and I am in love with this car! Customer service is great. I dealt mostly with Derek and he was very personable and professional during the sale. He wasn't pushy and that is honestly the best thing when buying a car from a dealership. I would very likely buy a car from here again.

Hiding broken cars to flip quickly

Bottom Line? Untrustworthy, shady, and willing to sell you a broken car while hoping you wont find out. They will even continue to drive the car after you purchase it. They will then avoid you after the car fails. You will need to get a lawyer and threaten a lawsuit, you will also need to file a complaint with the state government of Washington for fraud. I purchased a 2007 911 S with 80,940 on it. The car had to sit at the shop for a week while I arranged my flight out to pick the car up to drive back to CO. During the process of buying the car they stated the car was inspected by their local Porsche dealer and all checked out. Once I picked up the car it was in great shape, spoke with Emil for a while and left. At the 5 mile mark the second gear began to grind, we went back and tried to re-create it but they were driving the car very gingerly and slowly, when I asked to show them how it was happening they declined. The mechanic there mentioned to me that one of the kids at the dealer had always been eyeing the car and wanting to drive it. I checked the odometer. The car had an extra 139 miles on it. I noted this, and took a photo. They had continued to drive it and treated it like god knows what. I immediately called Emil and he hurried me off the phone and said he would look into it. I also noticed a slight tick from the motor out of no where and let him know, I asked if I should come back or keep going. I was told to keep going and have it looked at when I got home. So, I listened to Emil. Foolishly. 122 miles into owning the car, the engine failed. In the middle of nowhere. I had to have the car towed back to a dealer, it was $500 to do this. I also had to have the car inspected. That was another $300. I contacted Emil and George immediately, Emil answered my first call, George ignored me. I explained the issue and in a flurry of words, Emil said it was my car and its my problem now. Good luck. So I had the car towed back to Porsche, Porsche began working on the inspection. I called the other Porsche dealership that they claimed had inspected the car, as you might imagine, there was NO record of that ever happening, at any dealership since the previous owner sold it. I was already working with a lawyer on legal action, I had already written a letter of demand to MB motors to either fix the car or buy it back. I then filed a complaint with the state of Washington. All the while I had attempted to call and Emil, and George daily with no return calls or emails. I even contacted the other dealerships manager and they told me they would have them contact me by EOD. (Never happened) My wife called them "looking to purchase" something off their lot, they both called her and texted her back within an hour. Porsche got back to me, I was told by them that there was no possible way MB motors did not know about these issues. It looked as though they changed the oil (higher weight it sounded like) to hide the ticking noise for as long as possible. After 3 weeks of trying to get somewhere, the complaint was delivered to the dealership from the state of WA, George IMMEDIATELY called me the following morning (Seriously, within minutes of opening) stating he was so busy and couldnt find time to talk to me (yeah of course). They were buying the car back! Yay, finally something. However they ignored the fact I needed a tow, and they wanted me to give them the inspection notes THAT I PAID FOR. It cost me $700 to drive this car for 1 day, and 3 weeks of being ignored. Best part of all this? Once this was all wrapped up, one of the people at the Porsche dealership? They had worked for MB motors and they told me they would pull this on a regular basis. They left shortly after starting to work with them because of how shady they were.

Dealer response

Hello Michael, Let us be professional and not over exaggerate things in your stories. The challenge you have faced with the car was resolved right away few months back, not sure what is your goal to post such details that are not correct. if we were looking to flip the cars quickly we would have never taken the car back and because we have been in the business for over 12 yrs, we do not carry such practice. Of course the upset person is the loudest in the room, and we do sell over 100 cars a month, how can we sustain the business if we are what you are stating for all these years. We wish you all the Best. The Team @ MB Motors

I buy a lot of cars, I have built some great relationships with dealers that I still purchase from, so please hear me when I say, DO NOT buy from them. Awful experience

Terrible experience. Purchased a 2017 Dodge Ram. Worked with Pete. Was assured it was 'the best truck on the lot.' They didn't budge on the price a dime and strongly recommended the full aftermarket warranty which I paid. Drove it away realizing it had no fuel and in need of an oil change. 100 miles down the road a check engine light came on. Took it to a mechanic who said it needed an entire exhaust system. Took it to another mechanic and they not only confirmed it needed a new exhaust, it also needed a fuel filter and an air filter. And the exhaust system was NOT covered under the expensive warranty I was sold. Total repair estimate: $5,400. Auto rep said they couldn't believe MB motors sold me the truck in that condition. Clearly they had done NO vehicle inspection prior to sale. Called Pete at MB Motors, he claimed an exhaust is like a timing belt, it's 'one of those things you have to replace periodically.' Total BS. He suggested I price shop and then call him back. I did, found another mechanic willing to do it for $3k. Called Pete. He wasn't there, and didn't return the call. Called again, same response. Another rep promised to tell his supervisor. Nothing. Wrote an email to the company explaining the whole situation and asking for a call back. Nothing. Several weeks later now I've paid out the $3k on my new car with a bogus warranty and still have not heard anything from anyone from MB Motors. Do not buy from MB Motors. Total scam.

Best customer Service!

I want to show my gratitude by leaving a well deserved 5 star review of MB motors llc. I started my car search a few months back, did a lot of obsessive research, test drove several vehicles else where, over the past months. I ended up back at MB after seeing a few different prospective vehicles on MB's site. George Boulos showed me the vehicles of interest. All three great vehicles! I loved them all. What I appreciate about the service he provided was that he gave me room, he gave me helpful facts, and let me make up my own mind, absolutely no pressure. That goes a loooong way with me! I don't really care to be "sold". It didn't end there though. The fan for the heating/cooling system gave out as I was driving home from the dealership:( and the car was sold "as is, no warranty". We called George to let him know what happened. He asked me to bring the car in to have a diagnostic done. It turns out the fan needs to be replaced. They have ordered a new fan and are going to replace the old one. I appreciate that he wanted to have a happy and satisfied customer! He has succeeded:) Thank you George! I loooove my Car!
