For the first time, I chose to travel away from where I live to purchase a vehicle and it could not have been a better decision. Through circumstance, I found myself reaching out to dealerships across North Carolina due to a poor experience at a local dealership and lack of vehicle availability. Little did I know how lucky it was because it lead me to contacting Stevenson Hendrick Honda and Claude Hunter taking the call. From the first conversation, I knew Claude was the right person because I knew he cared and he quickly assured me that he could have the vehicle I wanted delivered to the dealership within 24 hours. There was never a point where I didn’t feel comfortable because Claude ensured every step of the process was handled quickly and professionally. Completing the financial portion and taking possession of my new vehicle couldn’t have been a better experience if it wasn’t for Claude, Shane Bevans (Finance Manager), and the Hendrick Team. This review is to commend Jimmy Bartlett’s effort and time that he put in to ensure that we were comfortable and understanding on all of the new technology before leaving the dealership. We knew there was going to be some technology changes, but not to the level of where the car literally can drive itself. He could tell we were overwhelmed on the test drive and it was assuring to hear that many others get the same feeling of uneasiness (Auto-Braking and Auto-Steering). He mentioned that many of his customers preferred seeing him use the features with them in the car watching them in action first and then trying it for themselves after witnessing it first hand. We took him up on that offer and learned the Radar Cruise Control. Let’s just say we have found true love with this feature and are planning trips now because of it. We would never have tried out this option on our own if it were not for him and now we will never buy a car without it ever again. If you want to know how to use your vehicle then you have to see Jimmy Bartlett at this dealership. We have spoken to him daily since buying the vehicle and when he said a review would be the greatest compliment he could receive. So here it is “Our Favorite Car Guy!!”

Dealership was clean and was not overwhelmingly busy on a weekday. Had wide variety of new and used cars.

I’ve purchased a handful of cars in my lifetime and have done deals at several different dealerships. Working with Hans at Stevenson-Hendrick Honda was one of my top-tier experiences. From the test-drive to the purchase, everything was completely pressure and hassle-free. Pricing was transparent and my time was well-respected. Everyone at the dealership was professional and pleasant to work with, and Hans, a genuine car enthusiast, let me test-drive the car for a considerable amount of time on a thorough route. I traveled from out of town to see the car and spent a few days contemplating the purchase. When it came time to buy, the dealership made it very easy to make everything happen, even from a distance. Even signing the paperwork right before the car was detailed and delivered to me at the dealership was easily completed on a digital sign-pad. I actually enjoyed buying a car from Hendrick and would recommend the dealerships, and Hans as a salesperson, to others. He helped make taking delivery of the car one of the best days of my life instead of a stressful one, despite all of the coordination that had to happen. Everything went smoothly, and I was able to return my rental car across the street and drive my new car off into the sunshine with the top down.

Claude Hunter was very professional, courtesy, and had a great personality when helping my son in buying a car. I would definitely come back and ask for him, when I am ready to buy another Honda.
