I reached out to ALM South Kia on 7/30 to inquire about
I reached out to ALM South Kia on 7/30 to inquire about some 2022 KIA Telluides they had on there website. I am located out of state for this reason all communication was completed over the phone .Due to them not having any EX nightfall additions available on there website the sale person insisted on get me a number estimate for an EX Telluride. Once speaking with the sales person on this matter and denying the sales price offered. The sales person found out from a co worker that they indeed had a EX nightfall. I was then reached back out to and told a price and I declined that price. I was then reached out to by the sales manager and stated the same price and I then declined the offer again. After ending the phone call the sales manager reached back out to me and asked if he dropped the price if I could come get the car that same day. I told the sales manager I was 3 hours from his dealership and would not make it before they closed. The sales manger told me to be there as soon as they open the next day 7/31 but could not guarantee the car would not be sold with out a 3,000 deposit. The would not except the deposit from my brother in law cause my debt limit would not allow a transaction that high. Also they would not let me process the full purchase price on a credit card to be paid off by my lender on Monday. I was contact by the sales person at 9 pm to be told the car was still available. At this time I get up the next morning 7/31 loaded my family ( including a toddler up ) and head 3hr to the dealer. Once I got to the dealer ship they brought the car around for me to see and told me that I would be unable to leave with the car cause they have not completed the PID of the vehicle. The sales person and sales Manger told me that I could complete the financing that day and they would deliver the car to me the next day. So I then agreed to this and start the finance process this took 3 hours to get completed. After leaving the dealership very unhappy and carless with no compensation. The follow morning 8/1 I receive a call from the sales person that the GM had decided that they will not be delivering my car due to he deciding that it was at no fault of the dealership for the issue and the only option for me to come get the ca which would have been another 6hr round trip for me. I let the sales person know I would not come get the car and to completely cancel the transaction . She said ok then I received call back stating the she had went to the store owner and they had agreed to deliver the car with no charge. I told the sales person that I was very unhappy and the moral and ethics of this dealer were horrible that I wasn’t sure if I should still proceed. I talked with my husband and he wanted me to move forward and let them deliver the car. I called the sales person back and let them know I would like to move forward. I then reached out to the sales person and dealership for the next 4hr to try and get a delivery update. After several no answers the sales manger Carl called back and told me it would be Wednesday 8/3. I received a call from the delivery driver on Tuesday stating that the car would be delivered that day but he was not aware or a trade and did not have room to pick up the trade. I called the sales manager to let him know and he was more concerned with letting me know he was off work with his family. The sales person called to let me know she was coming to get the trade on Wednesday. Carl was also very argumentative and proceed to tell me how much he had went out of his way to help me. As you can see above if there was a little truth most of this could have been avoided. This is my first purchase of a KIA product and so for I am very dissatisfied with the decision to purchase a KIA. I have purchased cars at other dealers and I have never had any issues. I feel the professionalism and moral ethic of this dealership and its leadership staff is horrible. I think people should be help responsible for their actions. I am not sure if I was treated this way cause I am a minority race in this dealership . I felt this needed to be brought to someone’s attention. Thank you.

The car purchased had just arrived unfortunatley our service department closed at 4, we were not able to PDI the vehicle for you. Of couse we had the other vehicle ready to go. We do not allow third party transactions, this is the reason your brother could not leave a deposit. We hope you enjoy the new vehicle if you need anything please reach out. It’s not about when your service department closed it’s about that information not being translated to me before traveling 3hr . Also I never 1 time said I wanted to purchase the other car . Also your sales manger had numerous opportunities to let me know but all he was concerned with was getting paperwork completed by the end of the month.
They need to train their workers with the right

Hire more people and hire QUALITY STAFF. I had to come to this place three times in a 2 month timeframe to get my brakes serviced properly. And have to wait 5-8 hours for the service to be completed. UNACCEPTABLE!
