YOU BEEN WARNED STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM AUTOFIRST
YOU BEEN WARNED STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM AUTOFIRST DEALERSHIPS AND THEIR MECHANCICS. We purched a vehicle there which they failed to disclose the known safety issue it had sold us the car and let us drove off the lot. Not knowing there was a problem till the next day. Called them they told us oh yeah we have a work order for that which the sales man failed to tell us about and tried to lie his way outta of it. Moving on took the car back there to get another issue fixed they had the car for almost a month and still didn't fix the original problem but made it worse they lied to us charged for parts that didn't need replaced after we had the old parts tested and there was nothing wrong with them told us the car was finished and we still had to have it towed out to another garage who had it for 3 days and fixed their screw ups and fixed the original problem. THE OUTED US OUTTA 1100 PLUS DOLLARS FOR WHAT. STAY AS FAR AWAY FEOM THEM OR THEY WILL SCAM YOU TOO WE CONTACTED LAYWER AND ATONREY GENERAL THEY CANNOT DO BUSINESS LIKE THIS!

I recently purchased a vehicle from Auto First.
I recently purchased a vehicle from Auto First. The sales rep that helped me was Amy and she was so helpful at every step of the way, that it was a trouble-free process. She addressed all of my concerns and requests. I'll definitely do business with them again.

When website didn't offer an option to sort by a specific detail and details were requested, salesperson told me I needed to "use common sense" rather than answering the question. NOT TRUSTWORTHY as they change their story when they realize you know what you're talking about and can't feed you a bunch of xx. Too many other, better, cheaper, more respectful options for car purchases to have to deal with these folks.

I bought a 2009 Honda Civic for over 12000.
I bought a 2009 Honda Civic for over 12000. I asked them to fix a couple things. They gave me absurd answers for excuses why it's only cosmetic. According to them. I went to trade it in two months later. They offered $3000. They told me that Auto first screwed me over. This place is the biggest disgrace I've ever seen . Do not buy from them!

BUYERS BEWARE
Buyers Beware. My wife and I was in need of a bigger vehicle due to our new baby on the way so we stopped at Auto First which was the biggest mistake we ever made. We found a 2019 Ford Explore which had some cosmetic damage and the inside needed alot of TLC as well. The manager assured us that if we bought it everything would be fixed and cleaned and would look like a new vehicle when we picked it up. We took him at his word but nothing he said was the truth. They had the vehicle for the first 2 weeks and nothing was done to the vehicle when we went to pick it up. We were going on a trip so we took it to go then we were to bring it back and they would make it right. I took it home to detail it to take it on our trip and there was a deep scratch that wasn't there when we dropped it off, and they accused us of putting the scratch on the vehicle. They weren't gonna fix it because they said it was done in our possession which it was not. We made our fist payment and still didn't have the vehicle. They eventually fixed it but not without a fight. We purchased the warranty through them and beware of what your signing because we eventually traded the vehicle a week later only to find out we lost all that money plus the GAP insurance only to find out we were 10,000 dollars upside down. Very poor dealership, not truthful about the products and services which we were promised. During one of our conversations it was said that with our excellent credit ratings we should have went somewhere else. Would not recommend this dealership at all very poor all the way around.

Customer Service was excellent.
I have bought a Mercedes-Benz GLK350. Lou was very helpful and answered all questions I have had. He stayed in communications with me though out the process. He got me a good rate from the bank and included a 2 year extended warranty. Lou has given me a call a month later to see how everything with the car was. Lou gave me a great value for my car. In addition, Auto First has an excellent service department. All employees are friendly. I did not have one issues just a Great experience.

Buyer Beware
I’ve included full details of my experience with Auto First below, but if you are looking for a summary – I cannot recommend doing business with this dealership in the slightest for numerous reasons ranging from quality control to unsavory sales tactics. I purchased a car from this dealership November 9 of 2022. They asked some general questions, but dodged answering direct questions about any of the cars; they then pulled around my 2013 Acura MDX, and from then on seemed insistent selling me that car. They would no longer answer questions about any other vehicles. But ultimately, we were looking for a three row SUV and the Acura seemed fine– this dealership was willing to give us some trade in credit for a junker, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The next day on a test drive the salesperson wouldn’t allow me to drive beyond a short few miles, and all that driving was at low speeds. When my wife and I were about to close the deal, the salesperson stepped in and said they wanted to have their maintenance techs look at “a wire” on the starter that “wasn’t bad but looked like it might go bad soon.” We picked the car up the following day. That weekend, I had to take my two kids to a pediatric urgent care facility because one of them was sick. After the visit, the car wouldn’t start in the parking lot. I had to have it towed in for repair. They suggested they “replaced the starter and a gasket between the starter and the engine block”, so I assumed everything would be fine. I drove the car for a few days or so and once again was stranded with my children in the car. I called the dealership demanding they fix this; after an angry call with the manager at Auto First, he agreed to a.) fix the issue with the starter, and b.) fix other issues since they didn’t give me the ability to properly test drive the vehicle (poor acceleration, wheel misalignment). They agreed to tow it, but the car would then sit at my children’s day care for two additional days. They then said they wanted to take it to the Acura dealership. It sat at Auto First for a few more days and then finally was taken to the Acura dealership; it would be December 7 – almost a full month after we purchased the car – before Acura was finished with the vehicle. The repair notes stated there was a bad ground so they cleaned the contacts and returned the car to me. The starting issue actually still remains to this day; intermittently, the vehicle won’t start. The last time it happened I attempted to call Auto First again; I was transferred to the maintenance department and they hung up on me. Fed up, I attempted to jiggle the negative battery cables around and found that the car would start. At this point, you would think I was finished. However, just this past week (week of February 26, 2023) I received a notice from the city of Philadelphia that the 2005 Chrysler Pacifica I traded in had been impounded and I needed to take action to get the vehicle back. So they never did anything with the title for that vehicle, despite the vehicle being collateral for the loan, and it is now sitting in an impound lot in Philly presumably incurring fees. Save yourself some trouble and don’t do business with this company. They may lure you in with low sticker prices, but the financed price on your final loan is going to be significantly higher than you expect, and you can bet what you are getting is a vehicle that’s barely in driving condition, if at all. Spend a little more money to go with a reputable certified preowned dealer, or really just take a chance with just about anyone else. They may be “nice” but this dealership is chock full of snake oil salespeople who will say literally anything to get you to ignore red flags and buy a car. On the plus side, it’s been a great learning experience for me, first for knowing what these red flags are and second because I will definitively never do business with this company again.
