Warranty Repair
Had a check engine light come my truck, found out the problem and dealer said it was covered under warranty so took it to the dealer. Al this went well until found out part was on a factory back order. Now they did give me a loaner for the 2 weeks they had my truck and did get it all completed. My major issue was the communication or lack of. I repeatedly had to call in and ask for up dates, would leave message after message waiting for just a call back. The girls they have answering the phone in service were so unprofessional that don't know why they even are there. Then when went back to the dealer I could see why. They are sitting behind the counter, playing on their cell phones, eating drinking and just very unprofessional. Even their appearance was shabby at best. You have counter people in uniforms and stuff yet you have these admin people looking like street people. Don't know what happened to Don in service but what a major change since I was last in there for a service related issue. Like I said they fixed my truck and I understand not having parts available but the people dealing with the public really left a bad taste.

Wonderful
Our experience with Sunset has been overall great! We purchased our Tahoe in 2013 and from that transaction until today, we have been satisfied with the service. I absolutely loved the one who assisted us with our purchase. His name was Sean. He wasn’t pushy or invasive, which I appreciated. Also, every guy at the service counter has been so friendly & thorough. Even when they are really busy. They still provide excellent service.

Bad advise from service department
I talked to service advisor about a damaged key and a vehicle that possibly had a immobilizer in it I was informed by service that it in fact did and I would need a special key . They took me to parts sold me a 110 dollar key it turns out that the car does not have an immobilizer unit on it and a 10 dollar key would work just fine . Or the one I already had . The cat had a blown coil fuse that was replaced for another 166 dollars . Do yourself a favor and find an honest dealer .

Very quick service due to inclimate weather
Arrived 30 min early for appt. They took us right away. Truck was done in 30 min. Quick service all due to snowstorm & many cancels.

Lousy service
Went for a oil change and multi point inspection, said everything was good, got half way home, they did not adjust the air pressure in the tires, got a call back from the asst service manager, was told drop it off and will get you something to drive. Nothing was offered to drive, so I waited another 2 hrs only to leave the dealership with the tires not properly inflated. Called back to the service writer and let them know my displeasures. Only to be told to bring it back again for the third time, and they were sorry again. I should have went to Walmart they could have done a better job

I love Sunset Chevrolet
Took my 2017 Chevy Silverado in for service, water leak covered by my warranty, and I was treated with respect and courtesy by everyone. I was provided a loaner and my vehicle was ready sooner than promised. My vehicle was washed and ready when I got there. Excellent service and would highly recommend Sunset Chevrolet.
