LaFontaine is the worst dealership I have ever dealt

LaFontaine is the worst dealership I have ever dealt with; ever! I purchased my 2020 Nissan Armada on January 28 2023 prox and I do not have all the closing documents promised. The vehicle has several defects that were not disclosed. The should lose their dealers license.

Do not buy a car from this place!

Do not buy a car from this place! I went in, back in September, to get some information on a new car, my lease was up in August of this year. I was given some information, but my salesman was more interested in my current car. He talked to me about buying out the lease. I told him that I did not want to do that due to the fact that I could have negative equity on the car when it came time to buy the new car. He assured me, five different times, that there would be no issue. The type of loan that I have would just drop off when it came time to buy the car. I decided to go this route due to what he verbally told me. When it came time to buy, what should have been my dream car, I was not able to do it due to what I owed on my car, it has $10,000 of negative equity. I then went to three other dealerships, two Chevy dealerships and a different Jeep dealership. I was told that the guy, who lied to me about buying out the lease did it just so he could get a sale. He had no plans on working with me to get a new car, he just wanted a quick sale. One of the dealerships told me that I'd need at least $11,000 to be able to get out of this car. The issue that I now had was the fact that I was never offered a warranty, since I had planned on getting a car around this time so I had a choice of keeping this car and hoping it doesn't breakdown/need an expensive fix or purchase a new car and deal with the much higher monthly payment. I ended up going with the newer car and now have an extremely higher payment. I went from being in a position of finally being able to buy my dream car to an absolute nightmare thanks to this deceitful car dealership. Again, stay far away from this place.

I’m not sure if the entire dealership is incompetent or

I’m not sure if the entire dealership is incompetent or just the salesman I worked with. Apparently turning over a sheet of paper to find an accurate number is more than he can handle in his busy busy day. This resulted in me taking time off work and driving all the way over to his dealership to be presented with numbers 25% different than what was quoted. His response to me not being happy with having to come all they way down there in order to find this out was to shrug and walk away. Quality customer service over there. I like this dealership when it was Shuman, where we had leased vehicles for 15 years. I guess my business will go the way of the Shuman name, not that they will care, obviously.

Jordan was very professional and well-mannered while

Jordan was very professional and well-mannered while assisting me with getting my new car. He really went above and beyond to make the whole buying process easy for me. I highly recommend the Lafontaine Dealership in Walled Lake the whole staff that was there at the time was very professional and polite through the whole process. My kids and I love our new car!

I purchased a vehicle on January 27, 2023.

I purchased a vehicle on January 27, 2023. They delivered my 2020 Nissan Armada in 01/31/2023 with a promise that i would receive all my signed paperwork in a day or two. Today is the 33rd day of the purchasing process and I do not have any of the necessary signed documents and NO ISPPECTION REPORT THEY SOLE ME ON 80+ POINT INSPECTION AND NO SAFETY INSPECTION. THEY ALSO CHARGED ITEMS TO MY LEASE TURN IN AFTER IT WAS SIGNED OFF BY ME ON 01/31/2023. IT HAS BEEN 2 WEEKS SINCE I RECEIVED ANY COMMUNICATION, TEXT, VOICE, EMAIL OR SNAIL MAIL. I have purchased more than 50 new vehicles in teh past 40 years but this the first this is the first used vehicle since 1970. I am 80 years old and I assume they think they are cute and I will not do anything about this. I was distracted during the purchase event on 01/27/2023 to answer a call from a Brother Marine who served in Vietnam era with me. They were pulling the wool over my eyes. He died tragically within minutes of the call. I Minister and help several dozen Veterans and others who need help. I see CARMA HEADING TOWARD LAFONTAINE OF WALLED LAKE. I am an expert in forensics and I smell Nefarious activity which I believe will surface. This is the most disorganized, chaotic and dishonest car dealer I have ever had the unfortunate experience with. May God have Mercy on the salesman, sales manager and clueless/corrupt general manager. Only a person that is deaf, dumb, blind and stupir would run an operation like this unless they are profiting from the chaos. It sickens me to even thing of this outfit! Tier one experience and I recommend anyone looking for an

Tier one experience and I recommend anyone looking for an awesome used car salesperson to contact Mr. Dennis. During these difficult times seeking customer satisfaction and quality services has declined due to the pandemic. However W. Dennis assured me I would be satisfied with my Grand Cherokee earlier this year. After visiting 4 other dealerships I was discouraged, but Mr. Dennis was spot on. Reliable, thorough and compassionate about providing quality services to customers. He was very patient with me, as I shared I was disabled. I could not have asked for more. He was awesome & I recommend him to everyone in my community.

I purchased two Jeep Wranglers.

I purchased two Jeep Wranglers. Will Dennis my sales person was so very helpful with my first purchase. That a month later I went back and bought my second one. Will continues to be very helpful and supportive of his customers and vehicles that he sales. I recommend him to contact if you are looking for great service.
