Smoke and Mirrors

I was shopping the Syracuse dealers for a new Frontier. Upon arrival I was informed the 1 year old certified I was looking at was sold. We began talking about new, something I had not priced out yet. The salesperson kept inquiring about financing when I wanted to talk bottom dollar price. I let it be known that I was not concerned with the financing and would not buy a vehicle based on payments. I informed him I had been to other dealers and had numbers in mind. Bottom line is that I knew they probably could not make my deal but I wanted to get a figure in mind for a new truck. They went over my trade several times and after 4 of them diligently studying the computer the salesman came back. The number was an insult and half of what I had been offered at two other dealerships. Likewise they were coming 500 of sticker which is really a rebate and not a discount. I explained that I wasn?t interested and that they were half of other dealers. I prepared to walk out and was asked to wait so he could tell the manager and that the manager would want to come out and meet me before I left. After another 10 minutes I got up to leave. The salesperson came out and said they were trying to call the boss to get approval to get me more money for my trade. After 5 more minutes they somehow found another 4,080.00 dollars. At that point I was so disgusted with the whole atmosphere that I was not buying no matter how well they did. The manager never did bother to acknowledge me upon leaving. I know nothing about Fuccillo and have never shopped with them before. I have dealt in buying and selling cars for years so I consider myself well educated when it comes to automobiles. Look at their dealership. It's all fancy glass, and stonework with multiple TV's. The bathroom has 3 tv's in it alone. Perhaps they should save a little on the TV's and give more to the customers. Following this I went back to one of the other Nissan dealers who looked at their price. He was pretty sure that they were below or at the very bottom line and probably going to hit me for warranty or rustproofing or some other hidden fees to try and make up the price they gave. I will never shop a Fuccillo dealership again. I did end up buying new from another dealership.

We do try our hardest to ensure that all of our customers have a great experience while here. As an explanation to the price that we are able to discount the vehicles at - We are a volume dealership so we don't look at each car deal as our money makers. All other packages are optional in the finance department so you would never be charged for those to raise the price without your consent.
