No one called to tell me that the repair would cost $600 dollars more than I was told , the service writer did apologize an I do appreciate that.

Called and made an appointment for service on my GMC

Called and made an appointment for service on my GMC Canyon for 9:00am arrived early was asked if I was waiting. I said no call me when it's done and I'll come pick it up. It's 1:30pm and no call. I called and was told the Tech had just starting it. I got a ride to the dealer at 4:00pm. The truck is not done. I wait in the waiting room while 3 other customers get their cars and leave. Finally this kid calls my name and I'm the last service customer. I ask why it took so long he said the Tech had problems with a transmission he was working on. I didn't push any more. NO APOLOGIES for the wait or anything. Will never go there again. Dealerships make their money on service so you would think they would have better customer service. Guess not.

They decided making $100 was worth screwing over a college kid! They lied about the repairs required so my son is left with an unreliable car without the time or money to fix it! Do NOT buy from them!

Took my vehicle for service on 12-16-2024 5 star

Took my vehicle for service on 12-16-2024 5 star Lafayette had the vehicle all week. Took vehicle back on 12-23-24 to finish work they could not complete the prior week. I have no problem with the service technicians or the staff that check you in. The problem is a total breakdown in customer communication with the service staff. They tell you they have a new computer system and they struggle using it. You have an appointment for a certain time there are not ready for you. You call them four hours after you have taken vehicle and they don’t answer, you leave a message on the answering machine they don’t call you back. They are frustrated and desperate and it’s sad. I take my vehicle to 5 star because I bought the vehicle there, they are a gm dealership and they known the vehicle. Lafayette 5 star is clearly miss managed and their staff are doing the best they can in a disruptive environment.
