I was contacted by GMC that my car had 2 recall notices. I called to schedule to get car in for the recall. When scheduled I asked if the dealership had parts in stocked was told yes they had everything it would only take 35 minutes to 1 hr to complete. I was informed it was a month out for first appointment. Brought car in early morning to be told the parts needed to be ordered and would be another month wait to repair. Dealership stated they would call to schedule my appointment when parts arrive. After 3 weeks I called to ask if parts were in stated they were sitting there waiting for me to call back to schedule to get installed. This is my first time coming to this dealership maybe will be last if communication does improve. Service stated I spoke with a call center for GMC not the dealership directly even though it was a local number provided by GMC

They don?t value your time

I was told that the part that was ordered for my car was in, when I got there after 35 minutes of waiting I was told no the part is not in and it will have to be re-ordered. I had to drive an hour round-trip to sit there for 35 minutes to be told there?s nothing they could do but reorder the part. My appointment was canceled earlier that morning so I called the dealership to find out why and they said it was a mistake on their part the appointment is still on and to come in at the scheduled time. Not one time was I told sorry about the mistake for your appointment and the lack of having the part and wasting your time. It would?ve made a huge difference to just even get a free oil change for wasting my time and gas.
