Do not buy a car by drive direct.

Do not buy a car by drive direct. They will sell you a lemon car and say when you drive it off. The lot is on you bunch of scammers do not trust this place. I'm dealing with the same situation right now by them and when they give you a warranty it's not really a warranty they need to get shut down asap.

I'm going to be generous and give them 3 stars because I

I'm going to be generous and give them 3 stars because I liked the salesman that I dealt with. I drove 500 miles to buy a vehicle that looked like just the one for me. The salesman made sure I knew there were some slight scratches in the paint that weren't visible in the photos before I drove that far. Kudos to him. However, when I test drove the vehicle there was a horrendous thumping coming from the front end. The tires were brand new, so who knows what it was. I sure wasn't going to pay good money for a car that needed work! There is no way that car should have been up for sale and ready to go out the door.

Buyer Beware!

Buyer Beware! I purchased a 2016 Jeep Patriot from Drive Direct Performance, and soon after, I noticed it was shaking. I was encouraged to buy an extended warranty that supposedly covered everything. I promptly scheduled all warranty repairs at the Performance dealership in Georgeville, OH, which was the preferred Jeep service center recommended by Drive Direct. I encountered several challenges with the service department, but eventually, I managed to complete the necessary repairs and make full use of my extended warranty. After moving to Cincinnati, OH, my service was transferred to Centerville Performance. The service manager at Georgeville assured me that I would receive excellent care. Unfortunately, Centerville Performance was unaware of my Jeep’s history, which led to a very stressful experience. They addressed a transmission leak, but just a few days after picking it up, my Jeep overheated, requiring a complete engine replacement. The vehicle still needs additional repairs and has recently been diagnosed with around $2,000 worth of work. While I understand that vehicle ownership comes with maintenance responsibilities, I wasn’t fully prepared for the extent of the issues I've faced. Now, my Jeep rocks back and forth while driving, which is alarming, especially since I have children and feel unsafe. I find myself in a tough situation, as no one, including Performance Drive Direct of Columbus, will refinance or accept a trade-in. I pleaded with the dealership to take the vehicle back, explaining that as a single mom, I cannot handle this financial burden. After reaching out to Perry Singh at Performance Drive Direct, he initially promised assistance in trading it in once the warranty claim for a new (used) engine was completed. After a long time without my vehicle, I arranged to trade it in, only to be informed the night before that he could not help me. The numerous repairs and lack of support from what I believed was a reputable company have left me feeling disappointed. Despite the engine replacement occurring at just 55,000 miles and the used engine having 48,000 miles, the warranty has expired, leaving me exposed to further problems. Now, I’m left contemplating surrendering the Jeep. What was intended to be a positive experience has turned into a nightmare since I bought it last year. Over 14k in repairs through the extended warranty company has been exhausted there is no more warranty coverage available. Here is everything that has been done in the last 6 months, the time frame that I've had the vehicle. (48k miles on used engine) 12/28/23 Engine replacement 7729.04 12/11/23 Motor mount / transmission pan gasket 685.00 09/07/23 Right front axle HVAC and wireless module Right front motor mount Transmission mount and wireless module. 2336.38 08/22/23 Heater Core 1855.00 8/11/23 Head unit (radio replacement) 139.20 6/8/23 Both front lower control arm Both lower front and rear engine mounts 1655.38 More than $14,000 in repairs have been utilized through the extended warranty company, and there is no longer any warranty coverage available.

I had sent 4 messages asking about the car .

I had sent 4 messages asking about the car . I did not get any response until I came to look at the car. Wow! Coming to this place was a nightmare. I quickly discovered why they didn’t answer my questions. It had 2 large dents in the drivers side doors, front bumper loose, grill bent! They refused to come down on the price. Tried to say they would sell it to someone. I said it would not be me. They had already lowered the price a few times in the month they had it. Thanks gentleman for all of the dishonesty. You most definitely lost a customer here. I would never recommend this place to anyone, unless it was my ex husband!!

Dealership had a great selection.

Dealership had a great selection. Mike provided excellent sales support and seemed more focused on getting me into something that would work for me, than pressuring a sale. Justin did a great job of getting me the financing terms I needed. An all around pleasant car buying experience.
