The staff were very nice!

The staff were very nice! The repair ordeal and warranty issues was the real problem! Due to the dealership and warranty company I was without a car for over a month! Do not buy a car from Fred Anderson in Greer and do not purchase a Zurich warranty! Terrible combination that will leave your stranded with no end in sight. Until you threaten to get a lawyer then they move.

I am the guy who sat here with your husband and called the warranty to try and get some answers. It normally does not take this long to get approval however with your vehicle being so close to miles out they wanted much more detail. The lawyer talk to not push me to try and help anymore, just the fact that I understood you wanted some answers is what pushed us to try and help and go ahead and get you a rental even before we had approval on the job. I cannot get back the time and money I could have made being without a car for over a month! I’m just warning people not to purchase a car at this establishment and making them aware of my situation. Which fell on dear ears for many days! All I kept hearing was excuses. He said she said speeches.

If you have an appointment you shouldn’t have to wait 48

If you have an appointment you shouldn’t have to wait 48 hours to have your vehicle looked at. I didn’t receive a call about issues until 80 hours after dropping it off. While the repairs were done well, the waiting game is not good for your business. I understand not having time to look at every vehicle but then push off my appointment date.

I do agree with you that communication is key and if you would have been told this upfront it could of possibly changed the outcome of this review. Neat, clean facility with friendly staff. Received prompt attention upon arrival, service adviser (Clayton) was great and handled all of my questions. Tech came to service advisor for my keys and the car was back in less than 30 minutes.

The good: My car was fixed and runs well.

The good: My car was fixed and runs well. The fix was 1K cheaper than was initially estimated. The bad: initially misdiagnosed and without my car for 16 days. I don’t have another vehicle so I called in favors and eventually I had to pay for a rental for 5 days with no help from service or apology for the delay getting the part that ultimately WAS NOT even needed. The actual diagnosis could have been done in 1-2 days. While cheaper and the actual fix, it seems that kind of mistake and inaccurate diagnosis would inspire the business to provide an apology, discount, maybe even extra services but that did not happen. To top it off, after the main issue was fixed, an additional expensive repair was found, 15 days later! I had the repair done at a Firestone I’ve trusted for years, and it was cheaper, but more importantly actually done the SAME DAY it was brought in. Ultimately, my last time using this dealership for repairs as the lack of empathy for the inconvenience of not having a car really rubbed me the wrong way to match overall higher repair costs overall. My interaction with the service manager over the phone began rather tense, and resolved better, but with no financial or other benefit. I’m an incredibly kind and patient person, and this was an example of how NOT to treat kind, patient customers.
