Was given a price on a 2023 Bronco by email of 64425. MSRP was 66425. Then next day when tried to complete the sale, the sales manager Patrick Lehmann-said the price would now be the market value price of 76580, increasing over MSRP of over $10,000!! Their website lists the price of $66425. And they call it upfront pricing!! Used their tradein calculator which gave me an average value of 43,000 on my 2020 Jeep Wrangler, but the sales manager, Patrick Lehmann offered my 34,000 on the trade. What a waste of time dealing with them. There is no small town value at this dealership.

Having purchased my Ford bronco sport at a different dealership, not being given the proper explanation of how my vehicle runs, I decided to approach a different dealership and see if I can attend information. I was approached by four lovely gentleman at De Soto Ford dealership in Arcadia. Explaining my issue within minutes I was introduced to Tony. Tony gave me over an hour of his personal time on how to run my vehicle and all the amenities that it comes with. I can’t say enough of the gentleman in him his knowledge and this wonderful dealership. Thank you Tony you are awesome.! 👍👍😎👍👍👍

Make sure you ask ALL the right questions. We recently purchased a used car from this dealership long distance. Because it was fairly new (2019) we did not ask whether the car had two keys available. When the car arrived, there was only one key. They tried to brush it off, but if you've traded a car in recent year, you know that dealers ALWAYS ask how many keys and if you don't have two, they will charge you for the second one. These keys are expensive - this one is nearly $500. We asked for them to either provide another key at their cost, or reimburse us for getting one made. So far, all we've heard is crickets.

You didn't ask us a question and you're angry with us? If we had told you that there were two keys, but produced only one, then we could understand your distress. Brand new cars always come with at least two keys. Used cars come with however many keys the previous customer gave us. We have never altered the value of a customer's trade-in because they only had one key. We have scoured our database and see no customer named "Pookey" so we don't even know who you are. We have contacted all of our recent remote deliveries and they are not unhappy. Feel free to call us 863.494.4848 and ask for Chad, he's one of our managers and is expecting your call.
Yes, because every used car we have purchased for at least the last 15 years has had two keys. It is an expectation - certainly with new cars, but also with used cars, due to the high cost of replacement. And when we have sold cars - to dealers or to private individuals, the expectation has been the same on the other side of the transaction. You can talk with Stephen Krause in your sales department. He knows quite well who we are.
Desoto responded "privately" that Management was looking at this. Well, apparently all they did was "look" because they have failed to respond to us. We are now out of pocket more than $2,500 with no resolution from them. I have filed a complaint with the BBB. AVOID THIS DEALER AT ALL COSTS.
You guys settled my claim through Better Business Bureau on July 4, but have yet to send the agreed upon amount of $1,855.46. Where's the check? I'll re-open the complaint if not received by August 3.
For those of you following this claim, we filed with the Better Business Bureau months ago. After a lot of back-and-forth, Desoto settled with us on part of our complaints. They offered settlement on July 1. As of August 23, we still have no payment from them. I have to remind them weekly that they agreed to pay and they say they will look into it, but so far, nothing.

My daughter totaled her, Tuscadero Rubicon Wrangler and we have searched for months to find one that would be perfect. Joey was great in helping our family. He arranged for me to be picked up from the airport after I flew in from Huntsville Alabama. The vehicle was in top condition, cleaned up, and full gas ready for me to drive back to Huntsville, Alabama. Joey and staff all get 5 stars!
