We went to look at a used truck here. The sales person introduced himself almost immediately and began asking questions to help us find what we were... looking for. Already had a truck in mind based off the website. We went for a test drive and he was very helpful with all of our questions. The manager and sales rep spoke with us after the test drive and were more than willing to work with us. I did not have that good gut feeling about the vehicle and they were definitely understanding. While we did not purchase the truck, it was a great experience regardless. I cannot rate them on service. The facility was nice but seemed a little crowded and not personal (deals made at open tables with many other people around).

Quick price comparison for anyone considering coming here for service. I needed a BCM replacement for my 02 Saturn L200, a very common issue. Libertyville... Chevy - Part: $544, Four hours of labor: $611.80, Diagnostics: 152.95 (Ryan explicitly said this was $130 when I brought my car in). Total is $1308.75. After crosschecking with nearby GM dealers quotes: Jennings Chevrolet - Part + Labor 2hrs + Tax: $548.01 Anthony Auto Group: Part + Labor 2hrs + Tax: $774.99 Bottom line - If you want a straightforward and fair price without lies, don't go here! Details: Went to Apex Autowork Mundelein. The mechanic there spent his time diagnosing my vehicle and discovered I had a bad BCM, but that he couldn't repair it because it had to be reprogrammed, something only a Saturn Service Center can do. I asked him how much he wanted for his time and he said nothing because he couldn't fix it! He said this was pretty normal with the saturn l200s, and that it would be 450-700 to repair. I did some reading online and found that just about every price people were quoted was in that range, none more than $800. But then I went to Libertyville Chevy to get the repair done. First, they need to do diagnostics. Ryan told me this was $130.00 flat, and that this would go towards the repairs. After dropping my car off, an hour later I get a call back from Ryan. He told me they wanted $1308.75 for the repairs. I went two days later after not letting them rip me off. That's when they hit me with the increased charge for the diagnostics. When I asked why their quote was well over double their competitors, they said they required more hours. Then I asked if they use the same database as other GM service centers. They said yes. Why was their estimate double their competitor's then? The reply, 'our mechanic has worked on them for 27 years and estimated the repair at 4 hours.' So do they use a database or not? Just lies all the way through. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. THEY WILL HOLD YOUR CAR FOR RANSOM WITH INFLATED QUOTES AND DIAGNOSTIC FEES! I wish the money they took from me could have gone to the hard working mechanic at Apex!

Spoilt Car. There was no noise on braking and in Engine. After $1300 worth of 120,000 tune up all noises started. I am sorry to say, they created problems... so that I visit again and again

Slipped an extended waurantee onto our bill when we bought the car that we had not asked for nor wanted . Said they would refund it months ago and never... did.

I went to Libertyville Chevrolet address: 1001 S Milwaukee Ave Libertyville, IL 60048. Worked with Keith Gunning who’s worked there for 18 years... of ripping off customers. Right from the beginning they kept stalling for everything. I wanted to finance with their promotion that’s online (false advertising). 4 hours later I came to find out that one way or another I was going to end up paying 3,000 more of the car price plus giving $3,500 with a high percentage even though I have excellent credit!!! I did confront them and wanted an explanation of which they were horrible of giving a good one. I will never go to this place again. Please be careful on what you’re paying and read all reviews. Now I know why some people were complaining of being lied to. If they’re stalling and talking among themselves a lot please walk out, be smart, do your homework. Now in days you can look up everything. Hope this helps.

The staff there are not at all interested in selling cars. The management has to revamp the staff if they want customers. Poor service. I don't recommend

Salesman Omar and dealership our crooks. Purchased a car that was advertised for $18,000. Omar and the dealership charged me for a prep fee $800.00(which... I said no to) they added onto invoice,the charged over $4000.00 for pre certified,which was not pre certified and Chevy said was not pre certified. The car which is a 2017 and bought in 2018 was very dirty for being prepped. They are very sneaky at Libertyville Chevy and Omar lies though his teeth. Stay away.
