I own a Lexus Is250 and my car was serviced because I have the wheel and tire package. I got the tire worked on in June and it still lost air. I went back... to Lexus September 25 to get my tires fixed that are losing air, but they said they found nothing wrong. My rear tires lose air everyday and they didn’t fix the problem I am now a dissatisfied customer.
Absolutely stress free service. Easy to book appointment. Repairs completed on time. Strong follow up from service team. Loaner car ready when I was.... They even washed the car. Lexus of Smithtown clearly is customer oriented. Having been a customer of numerous luxury car showrooms I would rate Lexus of Smithtown at the very top of the list!
I had a very smooth and pleasant new purchase (lease) experience for a new RX350L. Carlos Vargas was the sales consultant for me, who was very prompt to... respond to my initial email enquiry, followed up by phone calls. After some negotiation, we agreed on the price and ended up purchasing the car from this dealership. Finance Manager Robert Meyers was also a very polite and pleasant, so was Sales Manager Tim Burns. I brought my whole family for test drive to ensure the whole family liked the car. Carlos was patient with my kids who were getting excited and all over the place, and actually managed to engage all of us in this car buying experience. He knows how to handle kids very well. The delivery process went very smooth as well. Everyone was on time for all my appointments and dealt with our business efficiently and smoothly. On the day of delivery, Shawn was phenomenal in explaining in detail how to actually use the new car, and he set up my smartphone app, paired the phone with the car, and even helped me with the garage door opener setting. I'm still learning how to fully utilize the fairly complicated navigation/audio system, etc, but Shawn's guided tour was extremely useful to get started. Lastly, Carlos Vargas was extremely helpful, polite, and was pleasant to work with throughout this process. There was not a single instance when I felt uncomfortable or being pushed to make a purchase. All in all, I had a very positive experience with this dealership (better than my previous experiences with non-Lexus dealers which were outside NY).
Caleb Keating was an absolute pleasure to work with in buying my first car. He made everything simple and gave no pressure at all. I am very satisfied... with my car and with the overall experience.
If you dont do your research before going in they will play games like the back and forth between the manager and salesperson. First they, started at $650... month for a lease. What did I wind up paying?? $514 month. Almost leased a UXh. When I checked a quote from another dealership (owned by them) I realized I was paying more per month and had to put more money down. When I questioned the manager, Tim Burns, he said they included Tire and Wheel insurance. WRONG. He wasnt part of any of the discussions I had with the finance mgr or the salesperson.My paperwork shows TBD (to be determined) on the line for options, etc. I also had conversations with finance and the salesperson and told them I would decide when I picked up the car because I was considering putting NON Run Flat tires on. Another thing to research is run flat tires. JUNK. I told Tim the chain of events and that the tire insurance was not included. He insisted. He told me I just wanted to abuse him.. LOL and that his integrity was more important. I guess he needs to look up the word integrity in the dictionary because clearly that isnt a quality most of them have. I told him to cancel my order and refund my money. He said I will cancel and refund and go buy your car someone else. So, I did! I went across the street and got a Volvo! No games. No wasting hours of my time. Six days later I get a call from a SALESPERSON there asking for my credit card number so he can refund my money. He said they got a call from corporate. You would think a manager or finance person would take care of the refund. NOPE. He was pleasant and took care of the refund. I asked him why Tim didnt take care of it and he said.. oh, I think hes on vacation! Well, he should have taken care of it BEFORE he went on vacation or instructed someone else to do it. You would think a manager of the dealership would know they needed the credit card numbers to process the refund! Guess not. The theme there is poor communication. Since the owner of Lexus of Smithtown also owns Lexus of Southampton, I will be sure to never go to either. They also own ACURA OF HUNTINGTON AUDI OF HUNTINGTON AUDI OF SMITHTOWN BMW OF BAYSIDE HONDA CITY MERCEDES-BENZ OF SOUTHAMPTON SUNRISE VW I will be sure to avoid all of these dealerships. This was my experience in dealing with Lexus of Smithtown two times and have multiple emails documenting my experience and communications. As far as the service department: They have always been pleasant and took care of everything expediently. One exception, the manager. Gave me an attitude once because I wanted to use a coupon THEY sent me!
Caleb was very helpful introducing us the NX300 when we were looking for a used RX350. It worked well for us. The buying process is quite simple and efficient.... We also like the fact that the dealership doesn’t charge any extra stuff except the title and tax registration.
As a long time customer, I was very disappointed in the way I was handled by Lexus of Smithtown. There were forms that were supposed to be sent to my... insurance company and it took 6 months to get it accomplished. Numerous calls to the salesman, customer relations, and sales manager didn't get anything done. When I finally left a nasty message for the sales manager, this was finally handled. No way to treat a loyal customer!
I reached out to the dealership through email and phone for a new Lexus vehicle. The sales person was friendly and was prompt to offer a quote to me. However,... I was not able to purchase from this dealership as we could not come to agree on the price. I wanted them to match a dealer from NJ and they were not able to do it. I ended up purchasing the vehicle out of state due to the price difference. Overall the facility is nice, the sales agents are nice but pricing wasn't very competitive. My advice would be to shop around for the best price and level of service.
Got what u came in for got an extra 500 off Happy with deal no other fake fees other than DMV and sales tax I researched third party outside dealership... extended warantees and the one they offered was better and cheaper
What a lovely dealership!! We started with John in pre-owned cars and finished with Ali. Ali especially made it so convenient and easy to pick up our car.... Both gentlemen were extremely pleasant, informative and knowledgeable! We also met with Robert the Finance Manager who was a pleasure to deal with. No pressure and very helpful. Then when we picked up our car Anthony was just terrific! He set up my Bluetooth and even corrected a minor tailpipe problem. He would have spent as much time as he needed to with us. Very very helpful. I highly recommend Lexus of Smithtown and hope to buy a new car there one day. Five STARS!!!
