Sales Engagement GMC Cary NC

The buying process was very quick and done very well. Price was good. I knew what I wanted so did not need to engage the sales person for a long period but he was very courteous and informative. The process was completed in just 1 day!

Best service department i've ever dealt with.

These guys went above and beyond to take care of my needs. Greg is top notch! I will continue to use them for all of my service needs on my '16 Sierra Denali.

Excellent Service

Shopping for cars is my least favorite thing to do. I went to a lot of dealerships in the area and at some I was never even greeted by any of the sales representatives, however my experience with Hendrick by far was one of the best ever! Matt Gaylord (I highly recommend him) he went above and beyond to make searching for a vehicle very pleasant. He was very patient and knowledgeable. He was not pushy, and he went out of his way putting lot of time and effort helping me search for the right vehicle.

Terrible customer service

We went in to check out a Suburban LTZ. We got there early and spotted a beautiful Yukon XL Denali. I told the salesman I was very interested in the Yukon and he unlocked it so we could check it out. He brings us inside before we could test drive it and takes down our information and they start the appraisal process for our trade in. Before we get ready to test drive he tells us there is another couple interested in it so we had to make a decision quickly. Not a big deal since we pretty much knew we were buying this Yukon provided the test drive wasn't terrible. We get ready to test drive, we get in the Yukon and go from the back of the parking lot to the front and all of a sudden we are told the Yukon has already been promised to someone else even though no deposit had been made and they weren't even coming in until the next day. Why give us the runaround then? why was a car on their car lot that was not for sale and without a "sold" sticker. We proceeded to test drive the suburban and it was perfectly fine and had we not seen and experienced the terrible customer service regarding the Yukon we would have bought the Suburban but there is no way they are getting my business now.

car repair

I had a problem with my GMC Yukon and took it in for repairs. The repairs were a result of poor workmanship at the factory and I asked to discuss this issue with a manager. This was over a week ago and still have not heard from anyone after asking twice.

BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!

EVERYONE BEWARE OF THIS PLACE! THEY DO NOT DO BUSINESS PROPERLY AND WILL TRY TO SCREW YOU IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE. THEY TELL THE SALESMAN THAT THE ONLINE PRICE IS JUST ADVERTISED TO BE IN COMPETITION WITH THE OTHER STORES LOCALLY BUT WILL NEVER GET YOU THE PRICE THAT IS SHOWN ONLINE. THIS IS A DISSATISFIED EX EMPLOYEE WHO HAS NOT BEEN PAID THE LAST CHECK. TAKE THIS FOR WHAT YOU WANT COMING FROM SOMEONE WHO IS TRYING TO BETTER THEMSELVES AND CONTINUE EDUCATION IN CHARLOTTE. BROKE COLLEGE KID TRYING TO MAKE MONEY AND THEY WONT EVEN PAY ME FOR WHAT I EARNED!

Most horrible and aggravating post sale experience

I don't usually take time to write reviews good or bad. But the experience I had with Hedrick GMC after I signed the contract has been beyond just annoying. We traded in our truck and had our plates transferred (or so we thought). They sent us out with old plates on new truck across 4 states with no pink slip or any other confirmation that this tag is being transferred. Got lucky getting home without a ticket for it. For a few days after that I've been trying to get that pink slip from our sales rep that kept sending me to the finance manager who's impossible to get a hold of. Thankfully we got a 30 day transit tag in the mail before getting pulled over for no tag at all. You would think 30 days should cover the tag transfer process, but not with these guys. Left over a dozen of messages for finance manager Dave, heard back from him once. He said he'd get me the pink slip and email it to me. A week later I had to take it to the manager one level up Mark who seemed helpful at first (for what it's worth I was able to find out that plate transfer was never applied for because they were missing the back of my ID). But then he stopped taking my calls too. We're 40 days post sale with no registration, no temporary tag, no call back, getting a rental to get to work with a newly purchased truck sitting in the driveway. And as if all of this mess wasn't enough to deal with, they completely screwed up my loan payoff for the traded vehicle. I started getting collection calls from the bank and eventually had to make a payment for the truck I don't even own anymore after it became past due (there goes my perfect credit). The loan was paid off shortly after but of 'course with a new lower payoff quote. They still owe me a check for the traded vehicle and I am not looking forward to the battle for that one. Always get EVERYTHING you need from them before signing and leaving. After that you're on your own with your problems even if they caused them. BEWARE!
