Happy with my Car Buying Experience

We work next door to dealership and always noticed how professional the guys were and when it was time for us to shop we knew we would look into what they had to offer. We have friends who have also purchased a new vehicle there this year and have had previous years as well. They were satisfied with their service and cars as well. I will probably put them at the top of my list when it is time to purchase again.

I found a 2010 Camaro SS that I wanted to purchase, but wish I had not. I let them know I would be comming for the car after getting financing from my bank. The finance manager promised he could meet my banks rate, and got me pre-approved (which he met the rate but all the fees cost me $200 more+$320 to pay off the loan early, I just didn't want any more ties with Acura of Boardman or the bank they deal through so I paid the fee). Uppon arrival at the dealer the car was not ready, the car had a ticking sound under the hood. Acura of Boardmans service manager assured me it was the brake modulator making the noise. After some inspection by myself with service manager still beside the car I found one of the ignition wires to be off the coil and arcing. The service manager responded "we're looking for good technicians". After the test drive I tried to get a little better deal (since the car was not ready), and a promised car cover (from a chevy branch) at cost, but what I got was list price for the cover(I did not buy the cover though). This review is more than a month and a half after purchase in which I have tried to work things out with them, Called the Owner Jerry, he was in a meeting and would call me back(which I never heard from him again), and never got any good information back from the finance manager. I guess if you are nice to you local population then you can do good buinsess, but if you travel from any distance don't expect good service or after sale help. After spending 29,999+fees I have a hard time enjoying the car I've always wanted from the wrong dealer.

Thank you for your review of our dealership. One thing that we are always looking for are ways that we can improve our relationship with our customers both local and distant. We've had some great experiences selling people from out of our area. I would hope that our Finance Manager had disclosed all bank fees at the time of purchase. Most banks charge some type of fee and many have a early payoff fee. I hope that your dream car will give you years of enjoyment and we will work on making sure experiences like yours are almost nonexistent. Enjoy your 2010 Camaro SS.

no better experience

I went into see about leasing a new vehicle and was absolutely amazed by the staff very friendly and welcoming and willing to go out of their way to make sure your needs are met & will completely accommodate you and your limit. the whole atmosphere there is amazing they treat one another not as coworkers but as a family which makes people feel welcome. my sales man was Matt Kelley!& honestly there is no one else I'd rather deal with. I got full pay off value for my trade in that blew my mind that in itself sold the deal but also how could I pass up a brand new 2013 Lancer. they are fantastic. you'll see me in 3 years for a new lease Mitsubishi of boardman!!!

Highly disappointing............

My sales rep... Matt Kelley was really upbeat and kept us comfortable for the whole 4 hours we sat there but in the end I was not pleased at all. He lied to me about my trade in value which I did not find out until I already signed for the new car and left the lot. Then I was told there was NOTHING wrong with the used car that I financed through them. I am PA driver so all PA cars have to be inspected. When I took the car for inspection it FAILED! I went back over there and they basically told me there was nothing they could do. They told me I could TRY to fax the slip over to them and they would talk to the owner and see if he approved them to help me fix it. I don't feel I should have to pay one penny to fix a vehicle that I only had for a week. So instead of trying to jump threw hoops to get them to do there job. I decided to get it fixed myself because that dealership absolutely discuss me. I would never recommend going to the Mitsubishi dealership to any of my friends or family.

Amanda, sorry to hear about your experience with our dealership was a negative one. We always want our customers to have a positive experience and the 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix that you bought was one of the cleaner trades that we had in a while. You got a big discount off of the retail price of the vehicle and we gave you KBB value for your trade. I'm sorry that you didn't take advantage of any of the help that we offered including helping you with the repairs if you would have just given us the quote. All in all, we just hope you enjoy your Grand Prix and it gives you years of service.

Misrepresented Vehicle

I traveled 4 1/2 hours from Michigan to see a used Lincoln Navigator L. Upon arriving at the dealership the truck looked great from the outside, but when we got inside it smelled awful as if the dealership was trying to cover up the smoker smell after it was represented that it was a non-smoker vehicle. Stering wheel leather and front seat were completely worn. Additionally, one of the autmatic running boards did not work and I was told that they knew about that although it was not disclosed. Finally, when we got in the truck for a test drive it only had 12 miles worth of gas in it. I was told they would have to go back to the dealership to get the gas card if I wanted to drive it on the expressway. After driving all the distance that I did I would have thought they would have the car ready for a test drive and been honest about the condition. Fortuanately I had another option at a dealership with integrity near Acura of Boardman that I purchased a vehicle at that day. This dealership provided absolutely poor customer service and misrepresented the vehicle I drove over four hours to see based on the salesman's recommendation (Donnie).

I am sorry about the experience that you had at our dealership. We do our best to make sure that ever customer leaves happy with the purchase of their new vehicle. In this circumstance we could have done better with letting you know about the running boards and preparing the vehicle for your arrival. easy transaction

I am very happy with my 2013 TL AWD that i purchased for Acura of Boardman. I also had purchased a 2012 TSX. My salesperson Ross and i did most of everything by phone since i do not live close. I just showed up looked over the cars and did the paperwork. The deal was very simple and everyone was helpful. I like how they do business.
