New Ram 1500 Bighorn

Buying a new truck was easy , they were really busy so it took awhile . But Andrew did a good job and we feel that we got a pretty good deal

My salesperson, Rodney is very young but very informative and ready to help. He was very polite. I wish He would have checked with management on getting me a better price, but I really love my Jeep.

New 2021 Challenger Scat Pack from Stephen's Auto

This was my first experience with Stephen's Auto and it was a GREAT experience. I spoke with the salesman, Tanis Walker, that morning about test driving a 2021 Dodge Challenger R/T. I wasn't sure if test driving would be an option since it was very spur-of-the-moment, but Tanis gladly obliged. He took his time with me while I test drove two different R/T models. He gave me his honest opinion on which he saw as a better value and fit for me, and was very knowledgeable about the vehicles. All said and done, I pulled the trigger and bought the 2021 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack. Tanis made the transaction smooth and quick, even showing me the math when it came to choosing a payment option. I would DEFINITELY recommend Stephen's Auto to anyone. Tanis was more than a salesman, he was genuinely interested in helping me get my dream car. The other employees I interacted with that day were wonderful, too. Finance explained every number to me and answered all my questions. I really can't say enough good things about this place.

Poor Service, problematic used inventory

My wife and I had purchased a car from Stephens in 2011 that we were fortunate to have for 254,000 miles and had a good experience with in the purchase so we decided to buy a vehicle from them again. We purchased a 2011 GMC Terrain, the vehicle had a flat on the lot and we were assured that it was fixed when we left the lot. We test drove it while it was raining so we were unaware that there was a very large scratch on the windshield but the sales department and I came to an agreement to each pay half to have it fixed. On the way for the appointment to have the windshield fixed, the tire that had been repaired started losing air but they repaired it for us. I understand that used cars come with a few issues and it didn’t bother me so much. Then we started having more issues, with it continuing with a failed wheel bearing, requiring us to replace the passenger side wheel hub assembly. We took it to Stephens to have it looked at but was told they didn’t have the equipment to test it so I took it Moses on Washington street east. I informed Jeremy of this, which I assumed would have gotten back to Jody but, when we had another issue and he asked why we didn’t bring it there, I had to tell them they were unable to even test the bearing.Then, my wife starts telling me the seat started adjusting on its own but stopped so we made an appointment for Moses to look at it, as it’s closer for us. The next morning, the car would not start and we have to call warranty services to have it towed to Moses as the battery wouldn’t take a charge. It took two days for them to pick it up and take it to Moses, only to find out the extended warranty doesn’t cover a faulty battery, ALL OF WHICH OCCURRED IN THE SPAN OF A MONTH, BEFORE THE FIRST PAYMENT WAS EVEN MADE! My wife liked the car and I was hopeful that the issues were resolved but, today, I had to take it back to Moses because the driver seat and sideview mirrors are adjusting on their own, while the car is in motion (it’s an unnerving and frustrating experience to have to deal with).It did this during the entire 35-40 minute drive from Charleston to Danville. To date, I have spent nearly $1000 for repairs alone, but to Stephens credit they did reimburse me the $354 for the new battery. I had discussed the possibility of trading the car before this new issue with Jeremy and I was told they would get in touch with me in couple of days to let me know but that was over a month ago. When these issues were brought up to Jody, along with my loss in confidence in their services, I was told “it sounds like we’ve don’t quite a lot already”. I’m done talking, I’m done arguing, I will not be back as I won’t waste another cent with this establishment. I feel the ample opportunity to “make this right” has been given and I feel I’ve been slighted so I won’t bother with this group any further, I will take my business elsewhere.
