Abel our salesman was courteous and informative. He explained all things well, answered questions and addressed any concerns. We felt valued, comfortable, and confident making this investment. The gentlemen from Myrtle Beach who helped us in finance was cheerful and dedicated to our service questions. He was filling in for the regular employee who was not there. Allison took the time to address our questions during a post sales training session. We will continue to tell others about the caring and knowledgeable staff at McDaniel's Subaru.

2020 Subaru Forester
I am exceptionally pleased with my new 2020 Subaru Forester. I shopped around for about 6 months before deciding on this purchase. My sons have had Subarus for many years and I've been impressed with how well the brand has weathered the years. I'm still discovering all the features of my new Subaru and so far am pleased with the safety, technology and handling.

Great New Car Buying Experience
No hassle new car buying experience. The Sales Team did not have the Outback Touring XT in Pearl White on the lot, in July, the day we shopped at their Dealership. However, they determined that they had exactly what we wanted coming to their Dealership in August. McDaniel's Subaru called us in early August when they received our Outback and we completed the purchase. Great service!!

I appreciated how quickly they got me registered and got me a loaner. I especially appreciated that when the lady found out I lived across town, she offered for me to keep the loaner over night.

Used Car Purchase
We were in search for a used Volvo XC90 with less than 200K miles and in good condition. We happen to find a Volvo that fit our perimeters at McDaniels Subaru/Porsche on Killian on Cars.com. The moment we arrived we were greeted by a salesperson named Jonathan and were started our car purchase process. Jonathan did an excellent job in answering all of our questions and requests. After filling out the necessary paperwork, the manager and finance department was extremely kind and efficient in closing our transaction. We were very impressed with McDaniels Subaru/Porsche on Killian and would highly recommend them.

They seem to be trying
Third time there for service of new Subaru I purchased from them. I am still not in their "system".. The oil filter reservoir had oil in it, after oil change it should have been clean, they did not place a window sticker indicating next oil change time. They did replace battery under warranty, but several things had to be reprogrammed due to loss of power during battery change. They said they could repair the recall on passenger seat air bag indicator switch, but they could not, said I would have to come back when they got the wiring harness that needed replacement. Trying, but still not quite there yet.

12 K service
The CSR was courteous an called within the time promised for the 12 k oil an filter etc.. Need to have a additional person to assist when needed . I waited 15 minutes while he was handling a disgruntled owner.

Do not use
There customer service and service department are both horrible. I couldn't reach anyone in the service department and my wife had to call 9 times before someone actually picked up. They also do not return phone calls no matter how many voicemails you leave, most of the time I get sent to a mythical voicemail for Brittany, yet I have never spoken to her. Now our brand new 2019 Subaru Ascent is at there service department and has been there since 7:30 am yesterday, I just received an update and have been told that the part will not be there until tomorrow and that might or might not fix the problem. The best part is that they will have our brand new vehicle for at least three days to fix an issue under warranty and they "don't have any loaner vehicle's available at this time"(Nick), so how are we suppose to get back and forth to work to pay for the broken vehicle that McDaniels Subaru sold us? We currently have a 2013 Outback and a 2019 Ascent, both of which we will be trading in for something other than a Subaru. I would not recommend this dealership for sales or service, nor would I recommend a Subaru vehicle.
