if you're thinking about going here DON'T!!!!!

I am again writing to express my displeasure of the treatment I received in your service department today. I dropped my car off last week to have the brake replaced, struts replaced and to have a coolant flush. I picked my car up on Thursday 5/11/17. The very next day, 5/12/17, my ABS sensor came on and the brakes were grinding under my feet. This morning I called to see if I could drop it off and get a loaner as I have a class to attend in Lansing at 2pm. I was told by Coco that I could. When I arrived around 12:30p, Dianne asked if she could test drive the car to see what was going on. Afterwards, Diane told me that the department couldn't accept my car for service because my gas light was on. I explained that the light had just came on when I pulled into the dealership and that I didn't have time to get gas as I was headed to class. Dianne proceeded to argue with me saying that the service department was not a gas station and that they would only accept my car if I agreed to pay $7/per gallon to put gas into my car. I told her that I was not at liberty to pay that considering that I just paid $1600 for my repairs that apparently were not completed. I offered to leave cash for the department to put gas in my car to no avail. I asked to be accommodated considering that I had already been inconveienced by having to return the vehicle for further inspection after the department had it for over a week. I got upset and instead of trying to solve my issue Dianne proceeded to argue with me until I decided to leave. My issue remains unresolved. Subsequently, my husband tried to call the service department to see if he could find a resolution. Christine answered and when my husband indicated that he was calling on my behalf, she hung up on him. I don't know what the problem is, but the customer serviced here has been horrible. This is the second time, I've had to write an extensive complaint about the rude and discriminatory treatment from the service associates

2013 Cadillac XTS

I visited Cadillac of Novi for an issue caused by a local tire company (suspension and leveling warning). My service advisor, Matt Wood got me checked in and i received a response as to what the cause of the problem was within 12 hours. Considering the vast number of cars that are seen on a daily bases, I was pleased to have my vehicle returned in just a couple of days.

Overall experiences

Walk-in oil change, Service Rep. Matt. Also changed the cabin air filter which I didn't know needing to be changed. Excellent Rep! Reasonable wait in the comfortable lounge...now equipped with chargers and a separate area for using PC.s. ALWAYS a good experience at Cadillac of Novi where I have purchased several Cadillacs, Ray D.

Bad Service Department

The first thing I had an issue with was how long it took me to set the appointment. With an appointment, it still took them over 2.5 hours to get the vehicle done. When vehicle was returned they had left the volume of the radio on blast. My wife and I have been coming to the same dealership since 2011, but I think we are done and we are looking for another dealership to go to.

Experience, Knowledge and Professionals

I specifically waited until my first oil change before I rated this dealership. First, my buying experience was the best. I saw this vehicle (XT5) at the auto show and left my contact information. I'm a resident of Belleville MI and I assumed I would be contacted by a dealership closer to my residence. However, Cadillac of Novi was the first dealership to contact me. Dawn Medecke contacted me in January and stayed in contact with periodic updates etc. In April Ms. Medecke contacted me when the vehicle arrived at the dealership. I immediately went in and was greeted by Mitchel Reese. After a test drive and an overview of the vehicle, I was sold and purchased the vehicle. The buying experience was a quick, efficient and thorough process. The young lady in the Finance Dept. was professional and explained my purchasing options. The manager/owner of the dealership came to personally say hello and to thank me for the purchase. Mr. Reese showed me around the dealership and set up automatic service notifications so I would be notified when service was due. Every bell and whistle on the vehicle was reviewed with me by Mr. Reese and I left the dealership as one of their most satisfied customers. In Sept. I was notified via email that service was due. I set up the appointment (this can be done online) and when arrived was greeted by Julius. The Service Dept. has a group of professionals back there as well. This was another pleasant experience as Julius explained what was needed, estimated how long it would take and he as well showed me to the waiting area. Coffee, tea etc. was available in a very nice, clean and comfortable waiting area. I had some very minor body work needed as well as the routine service and all work was completed before the estimated time. What has made my experience so great with Cadillac of Novi was the pre-contact by Ms. Medecke. I explained what I wanted on the vehicle and that's what was waiting for me when I arrived at the dealership. Her professionalism and pleasant personality are the best. Having worked with Mr. Reese and his vast knowledge of the vehicle made me more comfortable with my purchase. To have a guy like Julius handling my service needs just rounds out my feeling that I'm in good hands with this dealership. I couldn't be happier with my overall experience and are happy to be a part of the Cadillac of Novi family. I highly recommend this dealership.

worst Dealer Experience Ever

Not only the worst dealership experience ever but worse than I could possibly ever imagine. After reading this if you are fool enough to actually visit this store I advise the following: 1) Do your homework. Neither the salespeople, sales manager, nor general manger actually knows the product line or how to order what you want. Worse yet, maybe I'm wrong and they really do know the product line and are just upgrading you to a much more expensive vehicle. 2) If your are owed money for your trade-in be sure they have the check ready before you sign anything. I had to make 4 phone calls the following day before the check was delivered nearly 23 hours after it was due! 3) Somehow, possibly because they are the current sales leader, they have a rep for having the best prices: They actually don't. I wish I could give negative stars.
