I have been doing business with Poughkeepsie Nissan since 1996 when I purchased my first Sentra, GXE. I have recently returned and purchased a 2021 Sentra, SV. This purchase is now my 5th automobile from this dealership. I return to this dealership due to the great people that work here. They are so awesome: the sales people (Vincent Ross) the financial assistance provided, the incentives....and they have a professional service department that assist customers in every way possible. Overall, Poughkeepsie Nissan is the whole package!

The service department is the only one I'll allow to work on my cars. Anything I have done there has been done right the first time. Sales personnel, customer service personnel...everyone is friendly, willing and able to help!

They are the worst to deal with. They will throw you...
They are the worst to deal with. They will throw you under the bus and charge you an arm and a leg. I am honest. Not good at repairs and lie about diagnostics. All my friends are notified about their scams. Do not trust them. They only cover themself and not their clients. They will sell to you but not do the right teaching for the clients nor provide the proper diagnostics. It will be your fault if there is an issue, even if you follow their rules. Please don't trust them. They get a 0-star rating from our family, unfortunately.

Lori, we apologize your repairs were not covered under your extended warranty, unfortunately, that is an outside company we have no control over their discussion to deny claims based on lack of maintenance. Dear Greg, you sold us the warranty and did throw us under the bus, you never advocated for us as your clients. Your mechanic stated there was no issue with my car. The transmission was falling apart, but he “ did not hear the 3 noises it was making”. I dropped all I was doing on a Friday to go back to your facility to drive my car with your mechanic in it and I had to point out to him each noise??? Seriously???? I am a nurse.... your job was to take care of my car, which I was bringing there religiously for oil changes and tire rotation. You have failed to treat my car properly... you did! I didn’t all you guys told me to do! If more teaching is needed it’s you who needs to tell the clients what they have to do with their cars. You just said we defaulted!!! How? And why? Did you told us why? No! You did not! That was wrong! Sold me a warranty that did not cover anything and you did not do anything to help us. I had to pay $136.00 for a second opinion, to find out what was wrong, because I trusted you all. At the time you sold us the vehicle for $36.000 with a warranty that did not do anything for us, and of course you were happy with your sale. That is all that mattered... the big sale! “ Thus warranty will cover everything that touches oil in your car for life!” But you left all the big gaps out of the explanation! Not nice and not fair! This is where we should have to be educated more on specific things regarding the maintenance and repairs of the vehicle. I could not, with clear consciousness ever do such a thing towards any human being! Now I have to pay $6000 fir a transmission that your warranty was supposed to cover. Thank you very much! The support from your side was amazing. I believe in God and doing the right things in life. I hope you will treat the further clients with better respect and advocate in their behalf since they are the buyers and not your warranty company. Also, try not to sell what you cannot fix. This was heartbreaking experience and I’m sorry that we had to go through this with you. Best wishes again!

Haha Poughkeepsie Nissan don’t get me started this place has the most rudest sales mangers. Disrespectful and this is a trash sale place. I lease a 2020 pathfinder and it was dirty and they were so rude about the details of getting it showroom clean and spotless. Tell me they did all the could and me as a customer I’m to picky and all new vehicle have some form or defects or grime, which I disagree with. I believe a new vehicle 6 miles should be spot less and shiny white Pearl. They did tell me to take it back next day to do a deeper clean as they said they did and spots were still on exterior of vehicle as well as it look as thy wipe the interior on my vehicle with cooking oils half xxx and it even rune my wife shirt when she sat down in the seat. There sales manger was rude to me and there detailing center sucks they don’t pay attention to any small detail. Found out what on on my vehicle was rail dust rust and it had to be clay bar and wet sand out then a complete re detailing the right way. I’m a person who care for cars and vacuum and clean my vehicle every day DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM POUGHKEEPSIE NISSAN DO NOT DO NOT STAY AWAY THE SALES DEPARTMENT

They are an excellent dealer with no pressure selling. I purchased a used certified pick up from them a few years back and went back to see what kind of deal they would offer, and they were well above what i was thinking of getting. They promised the vehicle the next day and we pulled into the dealership and it was ready. They treat you like family and everyone there was so friendly. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle to stop in and check them out.
