AutoNation USA Fort Myers

The worst team I have ever seen. I went to sell a van and they gave me a price. I drove an hour and the salesman did not make the meeting. when I told the GM about it he completely missed the point and even insulted me. This team is a joke. The very worst. Stay away. DD

I had an EXCELLENT experience over the phone at AutoNation Ft. Myers. My sales associate, Emma was so helpful and a pleasure to speak with. I called to inquire about selling my 2016 Chevy Spark and felt all my needs were addressed, she offered me the best price from all the dealers. I called several times and spoke to Kenia, Christopher, and Sherry as well. Unfortunately I could not drive the car to Ft Myers due to mechanical issues. Thank you Emma for your professionalism and customer service skills.

They advertise no haggling, but there was a lot of haggling in this process. We felt the team was very deceptive with their numbers, and presented them in a distasteful manner. We were told Autonation uses the tactic of listing cars at certain locations, when they are in fact not, just to bring people in. That’s false advertising. I was told from multiple people the car was at the Fort Myers location, that I could test drive it at my appointment, and it was also listed at the Fort Myers location online. The fact that we had to buy the car sight unseen just to have it even shipped to the store felt very scammy. And finally, I was promised a detailed car with a full tank of gas at pick up. When we picked it up, neither of these were true. They admitted the detailer does not take great care with the job, but assured me it was detailed. The car still had fingerprints all over the touch screen, white substances all over the visors, a sticky substance in the cup holders, attempted wipe smears all over the surfaces, and a women’s fingernail was left in the center console (even after I was told it was detailed and “wiped out” a second time). 4/25/25 update: followed the direction to email the customer relation team to discuss my poor experience, I’ve emailed them TWICE and called them and no one has gotten back to me. So my poor experience has continued - this is a terribly run company, I DO NOT recommend using them!! Changed my review from 2 stars which felt too generous to 1 star.

since 1970 I have dealt with Toyota. For many years salesmen has been Dale Fortner. He and Steve Meyer, sales manager, spent time this Thursday on buying back our 2015 Avalon with 19k mileage, as my wife stopped driving. These two men present an attitude of what can we do for you to have you know we treat you like more than a satisfied customer?I wondered how they could give me such a fair deal!!! It was2k more than Carmax, and I was pleased with their quote. They are the ONLY PLACE TO GO TO WITHIN 50 miles!!!

I have purchased many vehicles in my lifetime and the experience at AutoNation in Fort Myers has been absolutely outstanding. The folks I have worked with have been friendly and knowledgeable. The price we discussed and the deal made never changed...unlike some dealerships where they have you come to the dealership and then try to upsell or alter what has been discussed...a complete waste of time. AutoNation of Fort Myers has been an excellent buying experience and Randy Towne and Antonio Jimenez are 5 star guys!

Jon- Micheal was the best Sales Person I have ever bought a car from. He went 100 % on the hole Venture of Choosing & Buying the car. We then left to find a rattle in the back. He got use to bring it back for assessment to find it need rear shocks, he had them installed at no extra cost. Highly Recommend Him !!!!!
