I recently test drove a Certified Pre-owned Toyota at

I recently test drove a Certified Pre-owned Toyota at Smart Motors that was advertised on their website and was surprised to discover it was dirty inside, reeked of cigarette smoke and had a chip on the windshield. The sales rep was very friendly and apologetic and promised to have the vehicle cleaned and repaired and said he would be certain to take care of it and contact me when it was ready the next day. I did not hear back from him. Several days later, I e-mailed him to see if the car was ready. He called me right back and I made an appointment to see the car that day. When we arrived, he showed me a car that was $12,000 more than the original car and when I asked where the car was that I had come to see, he said it had been sold! I understand that cars can be sold. What is not acceptable is being misleading and deceitful to customers. The sales rep had my phone number and e-mail, but did not contact me. It was a complete waste of my time and shows a lack of respect for the customer. The appropriate response would have been to contact me to say, "I'm sorry to let you know the vehicle you were interested in has been sold. We have some other options I would be happy to show you, and I can also contact you when new inventory arrives. How would you like to proceed?"

Salesman Phil was very helpful and knowledgeable and took the time to show each option of the vehicle and explain how it worked. Best experience buying a vehicle ever!! He definitely made the buying experience pleasurable. I will definitely recommend him and smart motors to everyone I know that might be looking for a vehicle. I cannot say enough good things about the guy and his kindness.

I had a wonderful car purchasing experience with Gary F

I had a wonderful car purchasing experience with Gary F and Smart Motors used cars. He was very friendly, patient, kind, knowledgeable, honest, no pressure sales person and listened to what I needed in a car. He was also kind enough to stay late to accommodate my schedule to be able to walk through the vehicle details in full, so I had a the best understanding of how my new vehicle worked. I honestly believe the main reason I bought this car was because of his salesmanship and friendly personality. I would 100% recommend him to friends and family looks for a great salesperson. This was by far the best experience I ever had buying a car.
