I came into the dealership at closing and was turning around to leave but my sells person stayed and we were able to complete the sell of the car. Stress free!

Had my vehicle from Friday last week till yesterday. Worst experience I’ve ever had! Will not be returning! Reached out to the GM about issues with service no call no response to email and the finance director seems to be the only person knowledgeable enough to give any information on my warranties. Absolutely will not purchase or service here again!

Service Department Review

I purchased my vehicle from Bowditch Ford. I was assured this was the very best dealership to do business with since they boast years of Presidential Awards for service. Moving forward not only do they not even let you know when you truck is received into their service department there is literally no one in charge of their service department. Their service advisors do not reach out you have to chase them down to even get an update on your vehicle they don’t have the training to even read warranty information and to add even more confusion they leave it to the customer to have to know every detail of coverage down to the fine print of their warranty. When I reached out to the GM Chris V via email I was not even dignified with a response no call no text no email. The only person who seems to know what’s going on their is their finance director. It’s a real shame this dealership has become what it is I would have enjoyed a long term relationship with them but they obviously aren’t interested in maintaining long term customers. I will be trading my 2014 F150 Lariat next year and it has less than 50k miles on it currently I am sure any of the local Ford dealers would love to have it as a trade in and to have me purchase and service my vehicle with them since we do spend money on extended warranties and gap and any coverage that allows us to maintain the vehicle in good health. I will be having the warranty repairs done at another Ford dealer since Bowditch could not be bothered to complete them in the five days it sat at their facility and will be happy to see if the other work they recommend is actually necessary also since they couldn’t even be bothered to fill out their multi point inspection with the make and model of the vehicle and the time before stated that the truck didn’t have a spare tire... If they took as much effort soliciting reviews after the vehicles are picked up and put that effort into training and running a service department geared towards customer service maybe things would be different. It’s a complete disappointment!

Oil change

Call got a appointment for oil change at 10:00am next day. Got there at 9:45 said be a few minutes at 11:30 went back and they had not even got it in the shop, if they were running that late they could have told us. They gave no excuse, finally at 12:30 told me it was done. Picked it up. Had grease on the drivers side door and grease on carpet. No thank you sorry for running late. Nothing. Do not use them unless you want poor service

SOLD A LEMON

Bought a used Ford Focus with 70K miles on it. After driving the car for 2 weeks and only putting on 2K miles I needed a repair done due to overheating. Come to find out I need a new engine because coolant was leaking into the engine. Thanks for screwing a military member.

I recently took my Ford Raptor into Bowditch Ford for an oil change and for them to look into a ticking noise I was noticing with my vehicle.(vehicle was still in good running condition) Upon completion of my oil change they did an inspection of the motor and noticed a spun bearing and notified me I needed to replace my motor. They assured me my warranty covered everything. I notified them that I would be leaving the state to head home to spend time with my family for Thanksgiving in 2 weeks and would need my vehicle travel home and wanted to check on the status of the new motor to make sure it wasn't on back order do the fact my truck engine hasn't been produced since 2014. They told me they couldn't check on availability of any engines in the system until they submitted proof to Ford the truck needed a new crate motor but continued to reassure me that I would have my truck back in 2 weeks to go home. I contacted them a week later and they told me they submitted everything to Ford and it was approved they were just waiting on the motor to show up. I was once again reassured I would have my truck back in time for my road trip. I once again called in a few days days later and no motor and no status update on a motor. After coming back from the holiday still no status update on a motor. I went another 3 weeks( with no one returning my calls I would have to visit the dealership once a week to talk to anyone) without a status update on an engine. I repeatedly asked if the motor was on back order and was reassured that even though the system hadn't updated the motor still might show up. They had my truck for 6 weeks before notifying the engine was on back order. I ended up having to drive the rental vehicle provided under my warranty home for Christmas. While I was home I found out the service department wasn't renewing my rental vehicle and was emailed on Christmas Eve front the rental company notifying me I needed to return the vehicle or face late fee's and possibility other repercussions if the rental vehicle wasn't returned immediately. Of course the next 2 days were holidays and couldn't reach anyone at the dealership. It took 4 stressful days that I was suppose to be spending with my family (800miles away) to fix what the service department forgot to do. Once again with nobody answering my voicemails or calls after Christmas I'd have to go in to speak with someone and was told they didn't have a date of when the motor would show up. They had my truck for around 8 weeks before I got my truck back. After getting my truck back I returned back to Florida. Finally at home ( with only 1200 new miles) I was rotating my tires and noticed my access plate on my skid plate for changeing the oil was never put back on. I reached out to the dealership once again with no response I notified Ford customer care and told them the plate was missing and must have not been put back on the truck after everything the truck has been through. They reached out to the dealership and the dealership told them they surly put the panel back on the truck and it must have "fallen off "and they won't be held accountable for it missing it is now my responsibility. My family has been in the car business for 20+ yrs back in Colorado and I have never been treated so unfairly or have ever seen a dealer pretty much call a customer a liar or blame them for a part they Knowingly removed and not take responsibility for it missing after they worked on it. This is by far the worst dealership I have ever been to and would highly recommend nobody take their truck there for survice unless they want to be lied to and ignored by the staff and have parts "fall off" after they service it.

long wait

Brought my car in for an oil change, and state inspection. I sat in the waiting room for over two hours waiting for it to be done. I think it was finished and no one took time to let me know. One of the reps came into the waiting room and asked who I was and which was my car. He found it out in front of the dealership where it had been parked for who knows how long.
