My truck has aftermarket wheels with center caps that do

My truck has aftermarket wheels with center caps that do not need to be removed to take off the wheels. This will be important later. Went in for an oil change and tire rotation on 2/5/25. Made an appointment for 8:00 am. Truck was taken back quickly and believe it was completed in a timely manner. After I paid I went out to my truck to leave. This is when I noticed that the wheel without the center cap was in the same place it was when I went in. I went back inside and the adviser initially told me the tires were rotated. When I told him about the center cap he went back and spoke with ?Robbie? the tech who explained that when he pulled my truck in to work on it he put it on the alignment rack and not a regular lift so he didn?t rotate the tires. They took it back in and rotated the tires. This time when I went to leave the missing center cap was still in the same position on my truck. Apparently ?Robbie? felt it was necessary to rotate my center caps as well(again they do not need to be removed to take off the wheel. I cannot recommend this place because the tech knowingly did not complete a service that I paid for. I spoke with both the service advisor and service manager. Service manager didn?t seem overly concerned because the tires eventually rotated. If you go in for service I would suggest marking your tires somehow so you know what was/wasn?t done. Also found out on my drive home that my tpms aren?t working. I?m hoping they will reset as I drive more.

Clabaugh (2024 GMC 2500hd)

Buying experience was pleasant and the sales team went out of their way to make sure we got the vehicle we wanted.

$3600 for just a inspection

No work done except inspection. Trying to charge 3600 in restocking fees after 1 day. Huge rip off. Will not release my vehicle even though no work done. Initial estimate $12,600 for a 2007. Were going to do the work with a admittedly bubbling frame and rusted brake lines. Steer clear .

The perfect SUV for my needs and budget

After months of searching for a nice, used Tahoe / Suburban or Yukon / Yukon XL that fit my budget I found a really nice, fully loaded and rust free '05 Chevy Tahoe at Joe Ball GMC . It had just posted on Cars.com only an hour earlier. I got there and met James who was very helpful and accomodated me when I asked to see the car on a lift. This being an area where snow and road salt literally eat away at our vehicles it was important for me to see the underside. Much to my delight the Tahoe was originally from Virginia so it didn't have the usual rust and rot so common here. The mechanic who did the state safety and emmisions inspection also told me all he had done to make sure everything was up to the dealer's standards for a used car. Being a former mechanic myself and one who does all of my own work, I was very impressed. I was pretty much sold just from looking at the underside of the vehicle. After a thorough going over of all the options and a very pleasing test drive I knew I was taking this home. I got a fair trade in for my '97 Suburban which I had owned for over 18 years but rust was getting the better of the lower flanks. We agreed on a price for the Tahoe and they got me financed and out the door later in the afternoon. I am very pleased with my "new to me" '05 Tahoe LT. It was obviouly well cared for and looks to have led a pampered life. Thanks to James and the rest of the staff at Joe Ball GMC. These smaller family owned dealerships are worth a look because of the way they treat their customers and the products and service they offer.

I had a 10:30 appointment for an oil change on my 2019 Yukon. They knew I was waiting for the vehicle. After 50 minutes it was still sitting in the same parking spot. After 5 minutes standing at the table waiting for a service writer, a gentleman asked if he could help. I explained i could wait no longer for this service and wanted my keys back. He said they got backed up. I asked why I wasn’t informed and he didn’t have an answer. That was my first and most likely my last trip to their Service Dept.

Dishonest

Stopped in to take a Ford Explorer for a test drive. I work down the Rd and my mechanic is also on the same Rd. Got sent the email for the Explorer 2010 $8,700 at Joe Ball's GMC. After inquiring twice I finally got a call back and went the day after that for a test drive. When I went in they pulled it up on the computer and it came up as $9,000? I showed him a cpl emails with $8,700 and he said we'll figure that out later. I took it for a drive and took it to my mechanic to look it over and he said the AC wasn't blowing cold from 3 of the 4 vents, which was an indication the blender door wasn't working right so I told them and they said they're mechanic would look at it and I was to return the next business day to possibly purchase. When I returned he told me someone put a deposit on it (could of sent an email) after driving there I was mad but couldn't change it. Got sent an alert tdy about a Ford Explorer same place hmm I'm going to xx it out! Wow it's the same exact one marked up to $9,000. Do you really want to do business with dishonest people like that? Terrible Salesmen

The salesmen at this dealership are terrible. I was literally going to purchase a vehicle but because I asked to many questions and because my wife was disappointed that the vehicle they were supposed to hold for us was sold, the salesman talked poorly about women and my wife, and then told me that the sale was done and that it wasn't going to work out. The salesman lost a $40,000 sale and he didn't care how rude he was.
