Pre-Owned Vehicle Purchase

I had been looking for a pre-owned car online for some time. Found a car at Frederick I was interested in getting more information about a possible purchase. Cody was very helpful when I arrived at the dealership. Cody was very helpful getting the information that I needed to make the decision. I really appreciated the straightforward process. I was able to purchase and drive the vehicle home the same evening.

Not recommended

I had my truck serviced at Frederick recently. They put a 3 inch long vertical gash on the outside of my passenger side mirror. I tried to wet sand it out but the scratch is fairly deep. Still looks pretty bad. No notification from the company, they just gave it back to me as if nothing had happened.

Service

this is the first time in all the years I have my vehicle that when I got my oil change I did not have to add oil. Everytime before this I had to add oil a day or two later. Who ever did the oil change was great. Thanks

Great customer experience

Great car buying experience!

This dealership was super easy to work with and everyone was very friendly! They had the best deals we could find and they really took care of us. They just happened to be super busy the day that we went, so we had to wait a couple hours to start the process of purchasing a vehicle.

DEALERSHIP DAMAGED CAR AND WILL NOT REPAIR!

My husband's 2019 Camaro was involved in a hit and run in September of 2022. We were referred to Frederick Chevrolet, and told that they warranty their paint work. With that information, we scheduled our repair. The damages were done to the drivers door and fender; we were told that a new fender had been ordered and that the door could be repaired. We were given a rental car and told the repairs would be done within one to two weeks. It took nearly one month to get the vehicle back, and when we did my husband noticed that: - The door hinges had not been replaced - There was damage to the interior dash from a clip board being slid across the leather - There was damage to the steering wheel - The paint work had dirt in the clear coat We brought these concerns to the attention of the collision department's manager Cassandra. She told my husband that they did not replace the door hinges "because that is not something the insurance typically covers", and that they would not be fixing any of the other NEW damages because we had no proof that they were caused by them. After multiple attempts over the past five months; being introduced to and meeting with 2 new individuals, calling and meeting the General Manager Brandon, and even asking to make contact with the owner of the business, we have made no headway or found a resolution. The last we had heard from Larry and Brandon were that the piece for the steering wheel to be repaired had been ordered, there would be an appointment scheduled for the leather dash to be repaired and we would get the body work and door hinges repairs also. We have called and always been directed to a voicemail box. It is very sad that this dealership chooses to handle their customers this way.
