I'm shannon Kelly and I recently purchased a brand new Ford Escape from Sherwoodgroves in wysox. I recommend anyone to go there, they have the best service, A guy name Devin Hack came out in the pouring rain, helped me, that right there is awesome service, then even everyone inside treated me like family, so helpful, with the weather being crappie, they still insisted washing it, cleaning inside, and gave me a full tank of gas, they are the best dealership that I've ever dealt with, I recommend them. Thanks so much, Sherwood Groves for making it happen for me.
Great experience, great people look them up!!!!!!!!
Devon was outstanding in making my buying a truck a real pleasure, knowledge taking the time to explain everything I asked about my ford truck, heckhe even unloded, my old truck and put it back into my new truck for me,that's customer service. Devon is a real asset to the Sherwood/Groves dealership and I would recommend him when u are looking for new or used vehicle to look him up, u will be pleased that u did.All I can say is great service ,if everyone was geared like Devon it would be hard to keep trucks, cars on the lot. Devon thank you so very much for everything you will go far and the Sherwood/Groves dealership should be proud to have u on staff, again THANKS!!!!!!!

What a pleasure it was to deal with Sherwood Groves auto group. From Scott the salesman to the closing team of Chris & Casey. There was no pressure whatsoever. They knew what I was looking for and what I could afford. No hidden costs at all. I like knowing the bottom line before I get there. You have always had my business and you always well.
Wouldn't buy a pack of gum from this place or gm ever again. purchased a new gmc sierra 1500 and at 30,000 the oil line blew. still under bumper to bumper warranty and since they are low on techs in their shop it wont be done for another day or 2. Asked for a rental in the mean time and they do not provide rentals or any transportation for that matter and neither does gm even though it states that in the warranty. long story short if you buy one of these $50,000 vehicles and it breaks down even under bumper to bumper warranty I hope you have another vehicle to drive !
I'm sorry Mr. Johnson that you are not satisfied with the warranty policy of your GM. A rental vehicle is provided only in instances where a vehicle has been diagnosed and the repair exceeded a certain time frame. We abide by GM's rules. Considering the truck was towed in on a Monday morning, without an appointment, turning the repair around by Wednesday evening was a good response. We did have a technician out sick, which is not unheard of in COVID times. We also are at the mercy of GM and their timely turnaround of parts. The supply chain is also altered considerably from COVID. I think we did our very best given the circumstances. Hopefully we won't disappoint you the next time.
Great Staff Experience
I've called multiple times with all kinds of questions and every single time, each employee that has answered was nothing but accommodating and patient. I have not bought a car yet. Even after I inquire about different vehicles, they treat me like every other customer and don't hang up. Most dealerships would have hungup on me the moment they heard I was only looking and not buying right now. But not this place! I highly recommend them and will be buying in the future!
Thank you for such a kind review! We are extremely happy to hear our staff was patient and helpful through your research process. We hope to see you in the near future!
Perfect Salesperson and Experience
It was that time again... time to get another new vehicle. I went to Sherwood-Groves because I KNOW their reputation for taking care of their customers, and this time was no different. I had called ahead and spoken to Casey about what kind of vehicle I was in the market for (a Ford F-150 Raptor), and within a few minutes, he had the information I needed. He sent me pictures of the vehicle, fuel economy information, etc. Once I decided on the one I wanted, and after they gave me an incredible price, I arranged to drive the 250 miles to the dealership to make my purchase. Once I arrived at the dealership, Casey greeted me as I was exiting my vehicle with a firm handshake, and a "thank you" for coming. He showed me to the truck I was buying, and went on to show me all of the features of the vehicle. After this, I knew I was sold, and we went into the offices to take care of paperwork. While I was taking care of paperwork, and since Casey knew I was from out of state, he made sure to have my transit tags ready and installed on my new truck. All in all, I don't think I could have asked for a smoother transaction while purchasing a vehicle, and I know I couldn't have asked for a more knowledgeable or dedicated salesperson than Casey. Finally, I would like to thank the entire team at Sherwood-Groves, specifically Casey, Kaitlyn, Brandon, and Erin. You helped me to get a vehicle for which I had only previously dreamt.
Good morning, Paul! Thank you so much for your exceptional review! We are extremely pleased to hear you had such a great experience with Casey. We hope you're having a great time with the Ford Raptor and hope to see you again in the near future!!
Super good experience
Our experience with Mr. Groves, and the salesman, Scott, was really, really good. They were very nice, professional, and helpful, without being pushy and overbearing. Questions we had were answered honestly and forthrightly, and I don't think we could have had a better car-buying experience at any other dealer.
Hello @JoLyn12, Thank you for such a kind review! We are extremely happy you had such a positive experience with Scott and Brandon. Our #1 priority here at Sherwood Groves is customer satisfaction! We hope to see you again in the near future - good luck with your new purchase!

Do not care
This dealer had the exact vehicle my daughter wanted so we went to look at it. As soon as we pulled in the salesman started walking at us without a mask, so we pulled out and left. This is the only place we’ve been to that was not following the mandates. We ended up buying at a nearby dealer. I told them about our experience and they confirmed dealerships in Pennsylvania must wear masks. Also, mentioned we were not the first person that came to them and said this dealer isn’t following the rules. Just want to warn other customers they are not taking the pandemic seriously, nor do they care about customer safety.
Hello! I am Erin Groves, the General Manager of Sherwood Groves . We take the health and safety of our employees, co-workers and customers very seriously. We strive to keep all of us and all of you healthy and happy with the environment and culture here at my dealership. When a salesman exits the dealership on a warm , summer day to walk the expansive lot and meet or greet a customer, he has a mask or facial covering in his back pocket at all times. Upon getting closer to the customer, within the "social distancing" six feet rule, he will ask the customer if they want him to put the mask on, or remain distant enough to converse and go over whatever the customer wants. We always put the wants and needs of our customers first. Had the salesman been able to get closer to approach you and your daughter you would have seen this was the case. I am very sorry if you think we are not serious about our health and safety or yours. We are. We want all of us, owners, co-workers, employees and the public to be happy, healthy and safe through all of these trying times. On another note, ADA rules also mandate that I do not ask a person why they are not wearing a mask or facial covering. I can not, and will not discriminate against someone who is physically unable to comply with a blanket rule. I assume they have a medical condition that doesn't allow them to do so. I apologize if you think we were not taking the current situation seriously, we are, we do and we have. Thank you for reminding me.
