Took my new corvette for an oil chance.

Took my new corvette for an oil chance. They accidentally cut my leather seat on first visit. The second visit they put grease on the inside of my car.which is a 2023 corvette with red seats.😡

I spoke, messaged, and left a request on their website

I spoke, messaged, and left a request on their website about a specific vehicle they had on their website. I was texting with a salesperson who told me to come out to look at the vehicle. I drove over 30 minutes in the rain to get to the dealership. (I left my home 10 minutes after telling them I was coming.} Not only was the salesperson not there, but they did not have any vehicles of the type I had talked to them about. I wasted over an hour driving back and forth for absolutely no reason.what a waste of time.

I contacted Midway Chevy through your website regarding a particular Blue 2023 Equinox Premier that you had listed. I stated that it was the exact configuration we wanted. I was texted by Tennessee about coming out to see the vehicle. A few days later she texted again, and called at about 6:30pm. I explained that we were coming that night and would be leaving about 7pm. At 6:50pm she sent a text stating that we should ask for her when we got there and the address. We left the house just before 7pm and arrived at 7:35. We asked for her and were told that she wasn't there. We were then told that you did not have any Equinoxs in stock and the vehicle we had inquired about had been sold some time ago. We spent over an hour driving both ways in the rain and you didn't have a single vehicle to show me. A complete waste of my time and that of my wife. We will not deal with your dealership now or in the future.

Do NOT take your vehicle to Midway Chevy for oil change

Do NOT take your vehicle to Midway Chevy for oil change or service! Recently had my Chevy Colorado in for its very first oil change. Made an appointment for 11am on a Wednesday, had the day so thought I would just wait at the dealer for it to be completed. FIVE hours later… for an oil change! Not a sorry, not an update, not a would like a loaner vehicle to run errands it’s gonna be awhile! Just a “Yup, we’re busy.” It gets better though! After waiting five hours and battling 4o’clock rush hour back home on the ten. I park my Colorado only to smell oil burning, I look under, I find oil dripping from my drain plug. This is not a small drip, but a steady drip drip drip. Call Midway Chevy, they state it’s probably needing torqued more and will send a mobile service tech to my house to tighten and refill the oil. Tech arrives takes one look an says “Nope, that drain bolt is cross threaded it’s gonna need to be towed in and oil pan replaced. I’ll let the shop know and they will call you.” I received no call that evening from Midway Chevy. Called them when the service department opened next morning. Claimed they were never told of it couldn’t be fixed by the mobile service tech. Tow should be out today. I ask about a rental vehicle as I need to return to work. We need to see what the damage on the vehicle is first before we can approve a rental vehicle, we will call you. I let you guess… they didn’t call. Tried to speak to the service advisor, left multiple voicemails, NOTHING! Finally get a return call the following day. It’s gonna take a week to get the parts in and we were able to get a rental car. The fiasco of Enterprise not having vehicles, stating it must be a GM vehicle for Midway to cover(Midway said not true), and all around circus of obtaining the rental I won’t put on Midway. However it was par for the course in this web of incompetence. TLDR? Do yourself a favor. Take your vehicle to ANY other dealership for service. Jiffy Lube ain’t got nothing on Midway Chevy when it comes to breaking your vehicle!

I have bought 2 vehicles here.

I have bought 2 vehicles here. Never again! I brought my Traverse in for simple battery trouble, routine oil change and a noise at low speeds. Next thing I know the transmission and motor mounts are shot plus other things to the number of $9000 to repair and Hugh recommended trading in. Offered $500 for trade with a $9000 down payment, only to double my current payment at high interest. When we mentioned we had a warranty, the repair costs went up to $14,000 and parts were unavailable. Took car to a reputable mechanic; transmission is fine, just needs a torque converter and minor repairs for $2500 that the warranty will cover a big chunk.

Service department is not good!!

I complained that my brakes were squeaking every time I got oil changed from very first week I owned my Chevy Silverado, every single time they said nothing was wrong. As I expected it had a brake caliper froze up, but my son had to fix it even though I paid for warranty. So my advice is don?t every buy extended warranty because with every new truck I buy these dealerships snake there way out of fixing the problem by telling some lie. And these mechanics suck, they left my oil drain plug loose and spilled oil all over my driveway. They did come clean up mess but what kind of technician can even do oil without a problem?
