Great Experience

Forget what the majority says about car salesman being sharks. John Brooking was the gentleman that helped me with the purchase of my 2014 Mustang and I am very happy with it! He knew exactly what he was doing. Excellent representative of your company. I didn't even have to ask for the "carfacts" because he already had them ready to go. It was my very first car purchase, which is always a big moment in anyone's life, and I am glad I chose the right place. I will recommend Carman Ford-Lincoln to everybody I know! 10 out of 10 experience.

Disgusted and robbed

I bought a used car at Carmen Ford Lincoln in New Castle Delaware. Within the week I noticed the car had unusual vibrations when it was idling. I told the sales rep what was going on and he blew me off and sent me to the service department. When I went to get the car checked out I was told I had to pay $500 for repairs on the car. I had to repair the car because the vibrations were getting worse and it was an engine mount problem. When I contacted the sales department and the service managers I was told I could not get a refund because they didn't notice the problem when they inspected it. It is not my fault that they couldn't find the broken part or decided to sell it even though it was broken. I also think that when the sales rep saw two women come in for a car that I was taken for a fool and sold a broken car. I didn't even get a key fob to unlock my car. The sales rep told me it was impossible to get one because it wasn't turned in when the vehicle was given to them. I came in on my own later and was given TWO. The laziness of the salesman astounded me. I will never again buy a Ford. I do not trust the people there and think that it is very shady that broken and faulty vehicles can be sold and customers robbed blind. I am thoroughly disgusted with my experience.

I had a 2 month limited warranty. I was confused because it says on it that the "Engine; Cylinder block and all internal parts" are covered". The defective part was the UPPER ENGINE MOUNT.Warranty aside, it is extremely shady that I should have to pay for a part that I told the salesman was giving me trouble within a week or so of purchase. Something was missed before it was sold and I have gotten the brunt of the fallout.

Mr. White, We are never suree that our technician missed a problem on any used car when they check it. We do a very thorough check on all used cars so it must have been one of those occurrences whereby the problem started after we serviced it. The chances are more likely on a used car and that;s why we cannot cover everything and it's limited on whawe do cover. Did you fix it at our dealership and what was the exact amount you oaid if so?

I understand that your technicians are usually reputed to be thorough. However, the first time I had the car idling for any period of time was the very next day after purchase when I had to fill up the low tires the dealer told me about the prior night. That is when I noticed the issue. It seems an awfully big coincidence that less than 24 hours after I bought the car it would suddenly gain this defect. I told the salesman about it within a week or so and he said he couldn't do anything about it and referred me to the Service Center. So I was blown off from the start. I just figured it would work out because of the warranty and because it was so soon after purchase. I was wrong. The engine bracket repair was $482.52 on 5/2/16.

My wife bought her new Mustang

When my wife said she wanted to buy herself a new Mustang we knew there was only one place to go, CARMAN Ford!. Carman made the process pain free and quick. Since my wife was purchasing the Mustang she went in and picked one out and worked with Brad Drummond on the deal. I was unable to go with her that day and came on another day in which Brad was off. Nadir Ahmedjanov was kind enough to take me for a test drive even though he knew I was not the one buying the car. From the moment I spoke with Bob Karan and Todd Brabender they made me feel like family and really worked hard to give my wife the best possible deal. Mike Sipala did a great job on getting the trade in worked and what a deal it was! Then comes to the finance office. This is the office which makes everyone sweat. I can tell you that Bob Hepner took all the anxiety away and he made it a pleasure to sit in his office. This was our 4th vehicle from Carman and from they why they do business this will not be our last! Thank you once again!

Experience has drastically changed.... in a GREAT WAY!!

Being a previous Ford and Lincoln owner, Carman Ford Lincoln use to be our first stop for service. We left Carman due to some issues with the Service Team. Recently we saw the vehicle we ultimately purchased driving by the lot, and decided to stop in after previous conversation with Gary, the first salesman. Gary was extremely nice and easy to talk to with no pressure. He was very helpful, and although he had to hand us off to Jai after the test drive, we weren't disappointed. Jai was patient with all of our questions, and went above and beyond, taking a true interest in our concerns. Erwin was efficient in his delivery with explaining the paperwork, and by the time we received our keys, we were truly at ease about our purchase. The Sales Team was AWESOME, and I look forward to getting reacquainted with the entire Carman Family again!

Lincoln need I say more. EASY NO HASSLE SALES TEAM!

Gary was great and very helpful and really took the time to help us figure out what was the right model for us. Frank was very helpful with the figures on every model we looked at and gave us a great deal. Excellent service from the moment we walked on the lot to driving off the lot with our new Lincoln.

excellent experience, best price on trade, very knowlegable

The dealership went above and beyond to make sure I was very satisfied with the purchase of my 2016 F-150 truck. I had some personnel problems that arose and they worked with me till the issue was resolved and held on to the truck that I had ordered (highly appreciated). They answered all my questions and correctly unlike other dealerships that I visited when looking to purchase my vehicle. I will definitely be a return customer.

Easy Transaction, good price on trade-in,

I had seen the car I ended up purchasing, online. I had some reservations about financing, but after talking to Jai Nichols (JJ), and Erwin Lee, the business manager, they were put to rest. .I went in on a Thursday afternoon, and walked out with a new to me car that I love. It worked for me, was a great deal. , All the sales people, business manager, and general manager were great. polite, no one was rude or talked down to me, or made me feel like I should have had a "man" with me. I had also reached out to the Caman FIAT dealership, and the response I received from Tuniesha Balkissoon was fantasticI would highly recommend this dealer, and the people I worked with

We Shopped Around But Carman Earned Our Business!

I don't often submit reviews, but wanted to recognize the stellar team at Carman Ford in New Castle. I submitted an inquiry through the online chat feature on the Carman website. Heather Devich was my assigned representative and from the very beginning she was courteous, professional, and made me feel like she genuinely cared about my husband and I finding the right vehicle for us. I told her I was interested, but we weren't ready to commit. She provided me her information and promised to follow up. Well- She did! The next day I received a phone call from Heather educating me on some of the different vehicles that were in stock. I peppered her with questions and she was able to answer most of them and for those she wasn't able to answer she provided a quick turnaround on getting an answer. We had received quotes from several dealerships but Heather was steadfast in wanting to earn our business and explained why Carman was the right choice. Having worked in the financial industry for the past 8 years I can appreciate the level of due diligence Heather put into our transaction and that resonated with us when we decided to visit Carman to commit to purchasing our 2016 Ford Explorer Sport. Heather referred us to Greg Grimaldi who was an absolute gem and he helped us with a smooth transaction - even having so much patience with our 2 year old wanting to run around the show is! I would absolutely recommend Carman Ford/Lincoln to anyone looking for their new/used vehicle. The staff really care about their customer's experience and it shows in the efficiency and ease of doing business there.

Amazing Dealership!

Amazing experience with Carman Ford! I bought a used Mazda from them and couldn't be happier. Greg Futch was world class and everyone inside was top notch. I had a little problem with the ABS light the next day and Paul & the group of guys in the back fixed it no problem free of charge. The whole experience didn't feel like a "car buying" experience at all. Great group of people they have and I will be back for my next vehicle!

Purchased a new F150

Purchased a new F150. My salesman was Joe Giacchino. Joe was outstanding to deal with. I actually stopped in two months prior to my purchase, and made it clear that I wasn't there to buy that day, just to ask some questions about the truck since I was doing some comparison shopping. Joe took the time to go over everything about the truck with me, without any pressure to buy. He's very knowledgeable and thorough about what he's selling. When I returned to the dealership to buy the truck, Joe had me out of there in a little over an hour (including the test drive). The sales manager and finance guy were great also. This is why my past three vehicle purchases have been from Carman, and why I'll return. J. Jackson
