I bought from John Skehan and will buy from him again. John is a rare breed of salesperson - he asked the right questions, listened intently to what I had to say and made RELEVANT recommendations and suggestions leading, ultimately, to the right car for me. I felt he worked hard to find the right car, find me agressive financing (I got a great rate through his connections that beat two other banks by 300 basis points and 620 basis points), and sincerely wanted me to leave completely satisfied with my purchase. I felt no pressure and was never rushed at any point during the entire time I was at the dealership. I have been in sales for 14 years and am very sensitive to customer service and "the sell". Buying from John was one of the best purchasing experiences I have had. So, do yourself a favor, if you are looking for a Lexus, go to Koons, if you go to Koons, then find John. I think he is honest, polite, professional, respectful, has a wealth of knowledge about his product, and most important to us buyers - an advocate of customer service. We purchased our first Lexus in August. A few months later we went back for our 2nd Lexus in October. My husband and I had such a great experience both times that we still, to this day, rave about Koons of Lexus to all our friends and family. This is the 2nd time we've dealt with Kevin Glenn, and he has been such a pleasure to work with. He is a friendly and very down to earth. Our salesman, Rob Nestor was just as helpful as Kevin to work with. We cannot say enough positive thing about our experience at Koons Of Lexus!

LEXUS OF WILMINGTON WAS OUTSTANDING IN ALL RESPECTS. THE EMPLOYEES WERE ALL COURTEOUS AND THROUGH, EXPLAINING THINGS IN DETAIL AND IN PLAIN ENGLISH. WE RECEIVED THE BEST PRICE AND BEST SERVICE FROM LEXUS OF WILMINGTON (We also visited Lexus of Chester Springs, which was an unsatisfying experience) and Wilkie Lexus on the main line (where the employees were great, but the price was not). I HIGHLY RECOMMEND LEXUS OF WILMINGTON. JOHN SKEHAN WAS GREAT. NO PRESSURE, JUST A GREAT DEAL.

Everything about Lexus of Wilmington has been a positive experience for me!!! I purchased an '09 IS 250 in February of this past year. When I was eyeing the vehicle I noticed some minor scrapes on the back bumper and side panel. John said that they would take care of it and they did-at no cost to me! I really felt that John was just saying that to get "the sale", but in a short time John called to remind me of the work they promised to do. He said he wants a happy customer and I am!! The day that I picked up my car and signed the paperwork I worked late. I didn't arrive to the dealership until 7:00 that evening. John guided me through all of the paperwork and settled me into the mechanics of the new car I just purchased. It was lated when we finished up, but I never felt John was rushing me. He asked if I had any questions about the car and I had none. If something was to come up to please call him and in typical John style a few days had passed and he called me to see how I was doing with my new car and if I had any questions for him-amazing!!!! I also love their service department. They are conveniently located and can't do enough for you. I had some minor engine issue over the summer and Lexus towed my car and got me a loner car later in the day. They had to keep my car for 3 days so I drove around town in a new SUV for three days on them. A couple of weeks ago I brought my car in for a scheduled service appointment. I met with Todd, the assistant service manager, to explain what my car was coming in for. Todd offered me a loner car. I told him I didn't need it because I live and work so close I would get a ride. He was floored by my response. He said I "made his night". I got a free oil change and my car was ready by 10:30 the next morning after dropping my car off at 7:00pm the night before. The next day when I went to pick up my car, we talked some more and he gave me a Lexus stylus pen for my IPad because I was such a great customer!!! He's giving me a gift when I brought my car in for service. I know Todd appreciated the experience we had, but he made me feel like a million bucks for his kind words and friendly conversation we had. I can't say enough about this place. Dealership is horrible to work with. Do not go there for...
Dealership is horrible to work with. Do not go there for service and strongly recommend going to another dealership. Brought my 08 LS460 there for brake noise and was told needed a $3800 brake actuator. They were not willing to do anything even though the car has always been serviced there. Called Lexus corporate and finally talked them into goodwill fix and lexus repaired at no charge. Several weeks later, went back to dealership because of same noise and now told needed new control arms and will cost $3200. Tried to explain to service mgr and he just kept interrupting and very rudely said there's nothing they will do and it was separate issue even though noise was same. Asked to speak to GM and he was no help at all. Just kept repeating same thing over and over again. Couldn't believe they would put someone like that in charge of a Lexus dealership. Learn from my mistake. Before you get any work done or buy a car from this dealer, go to another Lexus dealership and shop around to get another opinion!!

Horrible service dept, go to another Lexus dealer!
Have always went to Koons Lexus of Wilmington to get my 2008 LS460 serviced - will never go there again! Brought my vehicle to dealer because it was making clicking noise from brakes. Was told needed new brake actuator for $3,500. Was shocked because the car is 2008 and didn't expect this from Lexus. Asked service mgr if there was anything they can do since the car was originally purchased from them and it was always serviced there. They refused and said nothing they could do. Contacted Lexus corporate and finally talked them into replacing as "goodwill". Several weeks late, went back to same dealership because noise was still there and now told that car needs 4 new control arms and needs another $3000 in repairs. I told the service mgr (Greg) this was exact same noise I brought car in for a couple weeks ago but he was very rude and confrontational and just kept talking over me and said its different part and this is how much it will cost to get fixed. Asked to talk to GM (Alex) and he was not any help, just kept repeating the same thing over and over again like a robot. Tried to reason with them and stated they have made a ton of money in past from service of this car and this was same noise they just made $3,500 from replacing brake actuator but they refused to help. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALER! Everyone besides Leigh is rude and incompetent. Always had a feeling that the people working in service dept were scam artist and this just solidfied it. Learn from my mistake - go to another dealer or mechanic and get a second opionion before letting this dealership scam you into hundreds and thousands of dollars in repairs!

Good Service Experience
I own two RX330 vehicles that have been serviced at Lexus of Wilmington. I have always found the folks in their service department easy to deal with. They are accommodating in setting up service appointments and have a great loaner-car program if you need to leave your car for the day. The service work is always done right, they keep you informed while the car is in the shop and they even wash your car before you pick it up. Overall, a great service experience.

Great Buying Experience
Excellent dealership. Great facility and professional and friendly staff. None of the pressure/subterfuge or good cop bad cop tactics used by old fashioned dealerships. Recommend this dealer to anyone who wants a quality vehicle at a fair price and a smooth hassle free buying process. We worked with Randy..he was great. Drove up from VA to get a deal at a jersey dealer..only got hassle(Freehold Hyundai=worst service/classic bad dealership tactics)Walked away from the Jersey deal empty handed and disgusted. Saw a great car at Koons Lexus the next day--Lexus Team in Wilmington redeemed the whole experience and made the trip worthwhile.

Wonderful Experience
We can't tell you how much we enjoyed our experince at Koons Lexus of Wilmington. We purchased a 2012 ES 350 on August 4, 2012. From start to finish, we had a wonderful experience. Leigh Encarnacion, Alex Hafer, Dan Hayes, Drew Greene and Kelly [she explained the technology] could'nt have been any more professional and any nicer.
