Heartland, best experience ever!
I bought a truck from heartland Chevrolet liberty mo. The absolute best experience I've ever had. The salesman was friendly, knew the inventory, very helpful. Inside the staff were very friendly, quick, honest and had my best interests in mind always. I would highly recommend coming here for a new or used car. Great selection also. Dishonest. Unethical. Bait and switch. Don't sell your used car to this place. Offer was for $2500 then dropped to $750. Had to beg for $50 more. Was led to believe "code" Lucas read indicated something potentially very bad. Was lied to about a mechanic actually buying the car, not Heartland. Ok, so I stupidly sold! Hours later my cars listed on cars.com and Auto trader for $4800! Shame on this place! Enough said.

Beware
Was quoted $2500 in email offer to buy my 07 Chrysler PT Cruiser, took car in and Lucas (?) took pics, drove it, ran sensor code (Id informed him of check engine light day prior) came back and said in a nutshell, cam shaft or crank shaft...offer was $750. Said a mechanic across street was buying? Lucas(?) made it sound as if my PT was bad. Said I didn't have to take $750 offer...but I ended up haggling for $50 more.I sold my car for $800. Less than 11 hours later its listed for Sale by this car dealer for...$4800!! Took screen shot of listing has no photo but vin# exact match! Description all glowing & wonderful! Shameless! Shame on these people! I'm elderly, l'm on a low fixed SS income and am just 😲! Thought Id seen some awful things in life. This dealer totally cheated me. My fault. Ignorance, age and naivety are no excuse. Even later in life lessons are learned the hard way. Beware of this place. I did report to our AG here in MO but..😒 no laws broken here, just ethics.

The service department was able to get my daughters truck...
The service department was able to get my daughters truck in for brake replacements quickly. They did a great job. They replaced the rotors and brakes and informed us of a small leak they were able to fix right away. The staff there is friendly and very helpful. Garrick promised the replacement would be completed in one day. It was done in 6 hours with an oil change and all the routine checks! The technician working on it did a great job. Some dealerships tend to treat women customers like we are stupid, I haven't had that at Heartland. Thank you

I would highly not recommend this dealership. I was trying to work a deal that I already have financing for, over the phone with Brent Deal, who argued with me that their website does not say they will give $2000 over KBB instant cash offer, when it does. I called and spoke with another gentleman Jacob Jackson who was VERY nice and let me know that he could help me out and explained I needed to bring the vehicle in. So, I drove the 2 hours in and the receptionist very kindly greeted me, but the friendly customer service was definitely not there from anyone else. A different Jake grabbed the keys for the vehicle, but was receptive on handing them to me and told me he unlocked it so I could go look at it, but reluctantly gave me the keys when I asked for them. They then tell me that there is not another $2000 that they will add even though there is no damage or issues with my vehicle and told me “it doesn’t matter why we’re not giving it to you, we don’t have to”and walked away. In the mean time of waiting for the finalizing of the appraisal, I could hear Brent standing at the counter behind me trying to talk disrespectful to another employee because I asked for another salesman. Absolutely the worst dealership experience

BAIT AND SWITH ON THE PRICE
Do NOT believe the price listed here. When you call they will tell you the price is a mistake. There were about 10 Equinox's listed that show a lower price here than on the dealer web site. I do not believe it is an error but deliberate.

Please give me a call to discuss further. You saw the price with the rebates from the previous month, our new incentives and pricing had not updated on the third party websites such as cars.com, autotrader, cargurus, ect. Each month GM changes the rebates, we do not know the incentives until the day of the new month, at which point we update all pricing. I apologize that you saw the previous months pricing. Helpful Information when considering Heartland
If you are buying a car or truck from Heartland Chevrolet in Liberty MO this information may help you to have a better experience than I did. First of all, if at all possible get your own financing. I’ll leave it at that. Next, when dealing with the sales manager, check every line every time they come back. What you just agreed to will be changed from top to bottom. When you think you come to an agreement and are ready to sign it, look it over thoroughly, take a picture, and get a copy right then and there. Do not lose it. You will need it when you sign your final documents and possibly after that. IMPORTANT: Be very leery of any aftermarket products they try to sell you. They will tell you that you have to buy them, you don’t. This is where they make all, and more, of the money back from the rebates they just gave you. Just say no. Examples: 1. Glass coat – they try to charge you nearly $2000.00. You could get it done elsewhere for 1/4 the cost, and they slopped it on. Had to take it back for a do over. 2. Nitro locks – 4 locking lug nuts. They charge you $498.00! They cost about $20 online. 3. Edge/door guards – They charge you $397.00! You can purchase a 2 pack for $4.00 at any auto store. Then they didn’t even install them where the door would hit. Unbelievable! Another return visit. 4. Window tint – 2 windows $299.00 – Twice what you would pay elsewhere. If there is anything but $0.00 in the aftermarket column you should check online prices first. Be careful. MOST IMPORTANT: Do not think for one minute that what you just agreed to with the sales manager will be properly transferred to your final documents. Hard to believe, right? The numbers were changed! Check every line of every document you sign and get your copy right then and there. Do not trust them with your electronic signature! Do not leave without all of your signed paper documents, especially your yellow copy of the sales sheet and your life time warranty. They will refuse to give them to you. It’s pretty easy to figure out why. They will say they are going to mail them to you but in my case, they purposely wrote the address incorrectly on the documents. I’m not making this stuff up. They did and refused to change it. Ignored me like it didn’t matter. I never received the documents! Get your documents and do not trust their electronic process. Personally, I’d go elsewhere. Your choice. I hope this helps.
