My purchase was handled in a very professional and efficient manner by George Goggi. He devoted considerable time to explaining the various features of... my new vehicle and the process involved in the transaction. George also introduced me to the Service Department staff and discussed the normal maintenance procedures to follow. It was also helpful that George is a very knowledgeable car person.
To be honest, I was dreading walking into the dealership. I had recently had an experience at another dealership where I felt confused, misled, pressured,... stressed, etc. From the moment George started working with me I realized this was going to be nothing like that. I can't thank him enough for making the process as easy and pleasant as possible and for thoroughly showing me the vehicle, explaining its features, answering my questions, etc. Also thanks to Ben for giving me a deal on the car since the one I originally wanted was sold and to Ken for giving me advice on what to do with my old car. Dropped off my car -- and all that was needed was done in a few hours, so that I could get to work. Easy to set up an appt. and I appreciated an estimate... of the work to be done. Nice Customer Service person -- helpful in setting up appt.
I needed recall work done and figured since I was in for that I would get a thorough checkup and 70,000 mile service done as well. Miranda at the front... was great to work with. I got to speak with the technician who was working on my 2009 EOS and he gave me an excellent explanation of what was going to be done, and what will need to be done in the future. Miranda then wrote up quotes for all of the work. I will have them do that work during the next couple months since I now know how much $$ to budget. The car was clean and runs better now than it has in a while. I also mentioned that I would love to get a newer EOS and immediately spoke with a used car salesman who was really nice and took down my information. I will definitely consider buying through them if they can find me the car!
It is refreshing to have a Service Team that understands it customers and works to provide benefit. Recently, my 2013 Beetle exhibited shifting issues.... The trouble was diagnosed to the clutch and throw-out bearing in premature failure. (Fifty years of driving manual transmissions and this is the first clutch/throw-out bearing failure.) Although out of VW warranty, Mitchell Service Team negotiated the lion's share of costs back to the manufacturer. Our invoice for new parts, replaced as a precaution, was one tenth of the original accurate estimate. We are very happy with this outcome. They get my business because they have integrity and compassion for their customers. Go there, buy a car from them, and have your service work performed by their excellent staff.
