Bad service, Terrible costs

Hit with ridiculous service charges, it seems like the only thing this dealership is good at is overcharging and not doing the work! The service department is a joke and they will do everything in their power to make money off of you. Better off at any other dealership or service provider.

Expert Advice: Avoid This Dealership at All Cost

Simple and plain: do not do business with this dealership. Total lack of professionalism, more scam then sales. Completely incompetent from the sales staff to the service department! Rude, dishonest and misleading communication with sales experience-- should have taken caution with those red flags, no willingness to meet or match competition and zero transparency, no familiarity with rebates either. After multiple purchases, servicing vehicles became a complete nightmare. Overpriced repairs, charges for services not rendered, inconsistent billing-- to sum it up, the only experience you can look forward to when dealing with these guys is zero customer service and being completely taken advantage of. Avoid at all costs. Major lack of integrity.

Dealer response

We are extremely sorry that you have had a bad experience. Sincerely, Performance Nissan Management

Repair Service for Car

Perfomance Nissan serviced a Warranty replaced new transmission under the warranty that kept going into limp mode. After receiving the car back it immeadiately went into limp mode. It was returned to Performance again and again it immeadiately went into limp mode. Performance Nissan was called numerous times and polite messages left. performance refused to return any of the calls, I tried the service manager and he refused to return the calls. Nissan corporate was called and Miguel at corporate stated he dealt with Performance on a almost daily basis. Performance Nissan made us pay to get the car back both times and billed for work performed but failed to show any of the parts replaced they claimed would fix the problem. Miguel after investigating the issue stated 'it was better to take the car to Coral Springs Nissan. Miguel also stated very clearly that the issue with our transmission may be that the transmission fluid was overfilled or underfilled causing the problems. Nissan has known transmission issues. It is disturbing that Miguel at coporate made so abundantly clear that the transmission fluid may be the issue and that Performance failed to address that issue twice when the car was brought in specifically for transmission problems. It is clear why Miguel wants us to go to another Nissan dealership

WARRANTY ISSUES!

I Purchased over 20 BRAND NEW Nissans vans in the last couple of years, most of them were purchased from Performance Nissan. So far on both of my warrantee visits the technician at 2 different dealerships (this being the $7,000 estimate for repair one) diagnosed things they said were not covered under the warranty. After making a complaint to Nissan directly on the first one they stepped up and paid for the first repair. However on the second one the service technician first tried to tell my manager that Diesel fuel was added to the gas in the van and the catalytic converter‘s were completely fried. My manager told him that’s kind a hard when the diesel nozzle is usually much fatter then the gas nozzle. Now it’s supposably something else in the gas like maybe kerosene but the guys tells me he can’t prove it. I told him ok great, prove it or fix it! I made a complaint to my sales rep at this dealership and he got Nissan to supposedly step up and pay for $6000 worth of the $7000 so called non-warranty repair. After fighting with them even more they have now stated they’re only going to pay for $5000 worth of the repair instead of fixing it under warranty like they’re supposed to. Who does that? Seems to me like they want to get money out of the customers. Draw your own conclusions! I need to purchase 500k in trucks next year, guess it won’t be Nissan! My main reason for switching my choice of vehicle manufacture was because I thought the 100,000 mile/5 year warranty service was the way to go. It’s only good when the warranty is actually honored. Update: so I finally pay them $700 something to fix the truck and they paid the rest, I was forced to pay because I needed the truck back on the road with no time to argue and let it sit. Had to make a business decision at that point, stay and fight while loosing money every day the truck sits or just pay and be back on the road. Finally we get the truck back and only a few weeks later and it breaks down again. Once Performance Nissan gets it into their service department they keep is for a couple weeks and I finally call says what’s the deal. They tell me the engine is locked up and it’s due to the previous issue that was supposedly handled already. No warranty they tell me.. Well let’s just say I regret ever buying all these Nissan vans. The warranty is not what they tout that’s for sure. What good is 5 years 100,000 miles if it’s never VALID!

They fixed an issue created by another dealership

All dealerships are not ran with the same quality. With that being said, the manager at Performance Nissan (Delroy) fixed an issue that was created by my going to a different Nissan dealership for maintenance service. He didn't have to, but he did (as a show of good faith) after I had given them such a hard time for what the other dealership did. Although, I have already left a review after their initial offer to fix my issue, I just felt it necessary to leave another. Being that they made a choice to take ownership and correct something that was no fault of their own. Now I will share with you what I learned from this: If your vehicle is under warranty from the dealership, allow that location only to maintain to your vehicle. When an issue arises, you will be glad that you did. And you create less headache for yourself knowing only one place can be responsible for it.

Worst experience ever!!!!!

I brought my 2011 Nissan Armada in for service because the heat would not work, no matter how high the temperature was turned it would still blow out cool air. The technicians and shop manager claimed that nothing was wrong with it because their temperature radar was giving them a warm reading, however, you could clearly feel that the air was cool. I ended up spending $100 for my deductible and they billed my warranty over $1000 for a replacement of my AC unit that was not even the problem. After my husband watched a YOUTUBE VIDEO he fixed the problem by doing something so simple underneath the hood. The technician and shop foreman should have been able to fix this simple problem but was not able to. Forgot to mention they had my vehicle for 4 days and gave me a very dirty, nasty loaner. WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!!

Excellent Dealership at Pompano Performance Nissan

The Dealership is very clean and the lot looks well maintained. The Customer Service was extremely friendly and helpful. They had a nice stock of cars to look at and test drive. Since I just bought the car, I have not experienced any repairs yet so that is unknown. I was introduced to the head of the repair department and they were very nice. Facility could be a bit better. They don't offer free coffee when most dealerships do. However they do give free bottled water, so it's not too bad. They do not have a stock of Official Nissan gear but they will order it for you if they don't have what you want. The store and bathroom was very clean so 5/5 on cleanliness. Overall, I would rate it a 5/5 star for general friendliness, help, and cleanliness. Presentation is important when buying a car and they provide excellent showmanship.

Never go to this dealer... bad experience there

I went to this place to buy a nissan gtr, everything was fine until the moment of the financing, they called me and they said that it was approved and that i only had to go look for it, when I went to the dealer they did not have any approval or anything, they made me 11 Inquiries in the credit and I lowered almost 40pts for this reason, in the end after 4 days they told me not to qualify, I went to another dealer nissan in Boca raton and in less than 4 hours I was driving a GTR in better condition and the color that I wanted, paying less for downpayment and a better APR. I do not recommend this dealer, do not know what they do or know how to work with financial institutions for financing, I lost 2 full days with them. Sitting at your dealer signing documents and giving all my information for nothing just lost time and decreasing my credit score.....
