This entire 2 month experience has been one big blunder
This entire 2 month experience has been one big blunder on Rob Lambdin’s University Dodges part. Buyer Beware: Rob Lambdin’s University Dodge Is a Masterclass in Mismanagement If you’re considering purchasing a vehicle or getting service at Rob Lambdin’s University Dodge, save yourself the headache — run, don’t walk, in the opposite direction. Customer Service: Abysmal at Best Communication is virtually non-existent. Promises made? Rarely kept. I was told my vehicle would be diagnosed and under repair within 4 days. It took 11 days just to confirm a suspected “HEMI Tick” — and even then, they couldn’t definitively diagnose it. I was then told I’d be on the hook for a $1,600 tear-down if it wasn’t a lifter issue. That’s like being handed a menu at a restaurant and told you might still have to bring your own food. Loaner Car Lie They boast of having “31 loaner vehicles.” Reality check? None were available — not even one. I had to rent a car on my own dime, chase down the warranty company for reimbursement, and arrange rides via Uber to and from the rental agency. The amount of time, money, and effort required from the customer here is outrageous. 51 Days Later… Still No Truck Yes, you read that right. 51 days later, and they still can’t fix it. This dealership is an operational disaster. The service team appears disorganized, overpromising and underdelivering at every step. Their idea of customer support is to shrug and send you back into the wild with no vehicle and no answers. 54 days later I am told that I will need to change my spark plugs and coil packs. I was surprised since this was the third engine why would it need plugs. Well apparently the dealer used the original 80k mile plugs to put in a new remanufactured engine. That’s like taking a shower and putting on dirty clothes. They said they would change the plugs and coils for around $1500 of course. When you can buy the plugs and coils for $500 anywhere, makes sense (kidding) they charge a $1000 in labor for 1.4 hours of work. You do the math on how this place works. Lastly, they had to test drive my car several times and had to put gas in it so I was charged for $40 worth of fuel as well. Day 55 I start my truck this morning and the starter is screeching. I take it back to the dealer only to be told there is nothing wrong with the truck by the Service Manager Hector. I can plainly hear there is an issue and even the Service Manager called a mechanic over and he recognized the issue right away as well. xxxx even customers standing outside knew the starter didn’t sound right. But the service manager looked at me like I am crazy. Anyway they took the truck back in and again refused to provide me with any rental or loaner of any sort. May need to check staffs hearing and vision as well provide customer service training, just saying. Long-Term Damage: The Carfax Curse To top it all off, the cherry on this lemon sundae is the lasting damage this debacle will cause down the line. Any future buyer will see the Carfax report littered with manufacturer defect diagnostics and a lengthy service timeline. Even if it’s eventually fixed, the resale value will take a serious hit, because this mess is now baked into the vehicle’s history. Thanks to Rob Lambdin’s University Dodge, I’ll be paying the price again when I try to sell or trade in my truck. Bottom Line Unprofessional. Unreliable. Unworthy of your business. If you’re thinking about trusting your vehicle or your money with this place, I suggest you rethink everything. They don’t stand behind their word, their service department is a comedy of errors, and the long-term cost of their incompetence will follow you long after you leave their lot. If you read this and buy here consider yourself warned. This place is not worth the headache.

I just recently bought a new 2023 truck there only had 17
I just recently bought a new 2023 truck there only had 17 miles on it. Not only did they try to sneak in an extra $5000 on the deal. When I brought that to the attention of the finance lady she still snuck in extra money by removing it from the tax line and placing it on the vehicle. When I arrived after flying in from Missouri I was blindsided with a huge scratch down the fender of the truck. I got a we owe on a new fender and trim for the windows as they were dented. I have been told it is in the mail but I have not received a tracking number for the fender and one of the window trims was scratched when it arrived. I have sent pictures to the sales manager via email and have not gotten a response. I got a survey from them at 11pm last night and when I clicked on it this morning it said my link had expired. Do yourself a favor and get a truck anywhere else. Even if you think it’s a great deal. It’s not. They are super shady. I now have to file complaints with all kinds of people just because they don’t want to be transparent. I also have a feeling getting my tags is going to be a problem. Seeing as they took the extra money they were trying to sneak in off the tax line so I still end up over paying for the truck from the deal we made and I will probably end up owing more taxes. Absolutely the worst dealership I have ever dealt with.

Very disappointed with the sales team!
Very disappointed with the sales team! I called ready and willing to purchase a truck on the lot. Pre-approved and with down payment to take me over the sticker price. called for a whole week with minimal feedback. Provided a offer fully expecting at least a counteroffer to negotiate off of but was essentially just brushed off. Very offended and unappreciated!

If you enjoy having your time wasted, your hopes crushed,
If you enjoy having your time wasted, your hopes crushed, and your credit run for absolutely no reason—then boy, do I have the dealership for you! After running the credit I found out they sold it to someone else without letting me know. Special shoutout to Carlos Torres for redefining what ‘bad customer service’ truly means. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Save yourself the headache and go anywhere else.

This is fantastic feedback! We thank you very much for your kind words and it will be our pleasure to serve you in the future. Be well!
For this dealership, a 1 star is too much!
For this dealership, a 1 star is too much! Horrible dealership! We tried to pay cash for a New truck because they are advertising taking $20,258 off their 2024 trucks and the sale guy gave us know where near that price today! when my husband told him the backdown in price on what was advertised, he was oblivious on what his dealership is advertising! His response was, " No wonder we are getting so many calls today!" telling us, "That's yesterday's prices!" "Our website is wrong!" Can you say that would be false advertising!!! it says its good to May 5, 2025 from what I saw! I guess they don't want to sell their trucks! No wonder why they have so many! Yes, I said- Cash! We were even thinking about getting our son one too! not anymore!
