First oil change and service request

While the technicians who changed the oil and rotated wheels get an A+, I would have to give the service advisors a D. First when making the appt the tech on the phone was more than a little obnoxious and arrogant. When a customer calls and requests service work to be done, it is that person only responsibility to make sure the customer needs are met. Remember, the customer is always right. We made the appointment with some misgivings by me. When we dropped off the vehicle, another service advisor listened to me and did the right thing by asking what we wanted done and saying he would see what he could do about ordering the parts we wanted etc. we pick up vehicle the next day and there is a note that stated they did not know what we wanted, that they could not find what we wanted and that if we put on what we thecustomer wanted it would cause several system failures in the vehicle. What extra service we were trying to get done is replace the stock front brake pads which were putting an unusual amount of brake dust on the wheels, with a set of carbon fiber ceramic brake pads. Something which is stocked at all automotive stores locally as well as rock auto and auto zone and advanced auto to name a few. The vehicle in question is used in car shows as well as being driven daily. My problem is, no effort was put in on service teams part and the staff was closed to any other opinion but their own. Not Avery good way to conduct business in my opinion. Additionally, what was supposed to initially be a no charge bill, was subjected to a fee which was discusssd when vehicle was dropped off. This lends me to believe there is a extreme lack of communication at this facility and consumers should be wary at best having any work completed here.

Trade in success

Traded in my 2014 Durango for 2 vehicals. Told Tom and the staff make my payments as close as possible. After a lot of emails and back and forths the team came threw. Buying process alittle slow. 3 hrs from start to end for paper work but we?ll worth it. Used vehicals don?t come with full gas tanks :( and my it was dark and my truck had a dent that I didn?t see to negotiate being repaired. Other then that great experience

Great experience!

Tom Perreault was very prompt and friendly. He answered all my questions and very helpful. It was a pleasure working with Tom. Tom also located the extra key from another dealership and called me right away.

Fluff on top and incompetent from Top to Bottom

Spent 100k in a week on 2 trucks. Trouble from the start, second vehicle delivered in horrible condition, took it back and cleaned it again but obviously didn’t lift the lift gate. I was told they didn’t want to use a cleaner on it so they didn’t mess up the paint, I took a wet cloth and it came right off. List goes on and on, the straw that broke the back for us, our trade-ins were not paid off in time and I had to shell out $500 to get those loans closed, dragged me along for over a week and could honestly careless. Suddenly the fault is mine, and they honestly could careless (notice a pattern). As I told everyone at Cook, I am not a complainer but they sure make it easier to become one. Never Again, I have two beautiful vehicles and would be just fine getting my old one’s back then go through that again. A lot of fluff on the surface but upper management is garbage! I have documentation and messages to back all of my statements.

COOK & CARFAX Deception

Before I bought my car....Cook made all the arrangements for a major body work repair on the car a later bought. The repairs looked perfect...Then Cook took the car as a trade in.... Then sold it to me...No One reported this to CARFAX . So when I asked for the CARFAX, I was decieved. Long story..i will try to keep this brief. I shopped for weeks for a Mazda CX5. I found an offer on line for exactly what I was looking for 2016 CX5 /low mileage/basic model/White...at COOK MAZDA in Aberdeen MD The car was 2 1/2 hours away. I called and asked if the car had been in an accident. They said 'No' We will give you the CarFax. The car appeared perfect. The CarFax showed no accidents...only oil changes. I bought the car. 2 months later it became evident that the passenger side of the car had problems. the biggest problem was the door wasn't closing properly. So i took it to my closest New Jersey dealer...the auto body manager showed me the indicators of a major repair. Silly COOK personalle who sold me the car accidentally gave me a paper with the previous owners name and phone #. So i called her. So much for privacy. She told me the whole story and is assisting me.... she hit the side of her car on a large pile of cinder blocks. The lady originally bought the car at COOK MAZDA... She took the car to COOK Volkswagen for the body shop repairs as it was closer to her home . ....The COOK Service Manager "Highly Recommended" a specific auto body shop. (I do not know the name of the Shop yet).....The COOK service manager took care of all the arrangements to have the car repaired and even gave the lady a loaner car. Shortly after this she traded the car in for a Volkswagen at COOK Volkswagon.... COOK VOLKSWAGON KNEW ABOUT THE ACCIDENT..... The accident was never reported to CARFAX ....Cook Volkswagon handed the car to COOK MAZDA to sell....So when the car was sold to me I was decieved. Don't be CROOKED......and you cant really trust CARFAX

Great Service

After seeing a used car online for my daughter Tom Perreault had it ready in no time for us to check it out. He was very knowledgeable about the car and car buying experience. Made my decision to buy much easier. Thanks Tom!

Great Service

Sean in the service department did an outstanding job of making sure my repair was done and covered by the manufacturer or the warrantee. He went the extra mile to get my car fixed without me having to pay extra money out of pocket.

Service was performed within in set time line. The staff was courteous. The facility was neat. The process was fluid. I did not purchase a vehicle this time but have in the past. Good Dealership Staff.

Great service and overall experience

Tom Perreault was so wonderful to work with. He was very prompt and thorough from beginning to end. His knowledge of the vehicles and quality of customer service was outstanding. I am so glad I chose Cook Mazda and look forward to working with them in th future.

Great service team !!!

Sean and his service team at Cook go beyond the norm every time I visit. They tell it like it is and let you decide a course of action without any pressures. I wouldn't trust my SRT Charger with anyone else but Cook. They treat my cars like their own and take pride in everything they do. Thank you very much !!
