On the 10th of May, I decided to inquire about a car on Hyundai of Ashevilles website. They didnt have that car. I spoke with Eli. He gave me numbers on... a different car and I told him I would call back in the morning and let him know. "What do you expect to accomplish by waiting til tomorrow?" I told him that I had already been waiting quite a while waiting a little longer would not be a problem for me. I wasnt going to be pushed into something. He told me that "his passion to get me in the right car" should not be mistaken for rudeness. Then, with this virus, I wasnt sure about when I would be getting my license. I plainly stated that I wanted to wait. He pushed and pushed. Finally I agreed and gave him my bank info for him to take $500 deposit. The whole deposit was $1800 down (he would get the other $1300 next day). I had just hung up the phone with the insurance company, handling my part when he called and told me the lender wouldnt do it without a valid NC license. So then I had insurance on a car I didnt have. After calling for 8 days trying to get my $500 back, I was told they are "typically nonrefundable deposits." AFTER being told by Cassie that she needed to see how they would be getting my money back to me. They promised the best deal ever they said. However, I got the same car 2 points lower interest, 1 year less, and smaller down payment from a different dealership. Today, on 7-1, 6 weeks after, I got my $500 back after filing a dispute with my bank. I tried to call to speak with the owner but ironically he was never available and never returned calls. I seriously doubt he ever got the messages.
Rachel gave us great service and listened to what we wanted in a vehicle. Very helpful and pleasant to work with. Tiffany was also great, and they worked... together making sure we were taken care of.
I had the pleasure of buying a van from Darion over Labor Day Weekend! Darion responded to my phone calls within hours and was very helpful with whatever... question I had for him. He knew that I was on a time constraint and moved the purchase along quickly. When I had not yet received my Title when my 30 day tag expired, Darion investigated the whereabouts of my paperwork. Within a day, my paperwork was overnighted to my local Title Bureau. I almost wish I needed another car just so Darion could be my representative!
Derek Barnard went out of his way to make sure I got into a car. Great salesman with great customer service. Will definitely recommend to my friends looking... to buy a car.

She's a great sales person. I love that there are woman working in the car sales business now. It makes me feel like we as woman are being Hurd.

Hyundai of Asheville and Victoria, specifically, were fabulous! When I completed an online inquiry via Kelly Blue Book, related to the value of my 2012... Chevrolet, I received a string of responses from regional dealers. But Hyundai of Asheville was the first to extend to me a firm offer for my old car, and Victoria emailed me immediately offering to set up an appointment. (This was a Sunday, and the other dealers sent standard "You'll hear from us soon" responses.) Victoria's email was specific, accommodating, and NOT pushy, which made all the difference. I kept the appointment even when follow-up emails arrived Monday from dealers closer to me, because Victoria was the early bird, and I respect that! I'm now the owner of a new, loaded Tuscon with all the features that were non-negotiable for me, with a payment that does not go over my threshold. Amazing. Kudos also to Cassie in finance, who made the dreaded part of car-buying seamless and transparent! It's SO worth the drive!
