Ammar Toyota in Vacaville Service Department refusing to
Ammar Toyota in Vacaville Service Department refusing to give us our car because their system is down and they only accept cash (cost is over $600)and refusing to give us the rental car an extra day even at my expense. They left us with our kids completely stranded in the rain, not a single person at the dealer willing to work with us. They are aware we are coming from over 150 miles away. I asked if they knew when the system would be up and they said no....completely amazed at their lack of professionalism and conscience. I really hope tomorrow is a better day and I can pay, pick up my car and go home....

Beware of this service department! Shady Service..
I would not recommend this dealership for any service. I came in for my 5k service on a 2022 Tundra (which I did not purchase at this location). After my service, the service advisor said that I needed new lug nuts and noted on my paperwork that they are swollen. They said that will be $250 with installation, which I obviously did not purchase. If they sold you lug nuts recently on your newer vehicle, you were scammed. Just google "swollen lug nuts" and you will be surprised that it actually exists. I went to my truck to confirm (as I smelled BS). I took the tire wrench that came with truck, and placed it on the lug nuts, and the wrench fit over the lug nuts so they were perfectly fine. If you have swollen lug nuts your tire wrench will not fit. They wanted to file a warranty claim to Toyota since it was a new vehicle and covered. Not only are they scamming customers, they are filing fraudulent warranty claims to Toyota. I will be filing a complaint directly to Toyota corporate and will be sending them a copy of the paperwork they gave me.

Very bad business
Went to this AMMARS TOYOTA VACAVILLE 3x. They treated me wrong every time. The 3rd time they finally got me ANGRY and I had to confront this Manny and his Manager John who by the way covers up everything especially for Manny! 3x they charged me and didn't do what was said on their check list. For example, no tire rotation, no refill of the fluids under the hood, and no air in tires. I knew this because I had checked my vehicle before going. They are CHEATING the good people of VACAVILLE! They also after they were treating me badly, had the nerve to tell something wrong was wrong with the transmission. Especially when I have taken the car to them just recently and wanted to cheat me. I will never go to this place AGAIN! IT WAS WORTH THE CONFRONTATION!

Just horrible, Patrick Coleman and his associate Manny.
Just horrible, Patrick Coleman and his associate Manny. Worst worst experience I have ever experienced from a Toyota dealership service, I have been to many locations nationwide.

I’ve had the same experience as others recently.
I’ve had the same experience as others recently. Already take my car somewhere else for oil changes and tire rotations. That’s when I found out I needed to bring it in to be seen at Toyota. Struts were bad and covered under warranty but they didn’t want to change them. But still stole $185 from me. Terrible customer service and manager tried to bribe us by saying keep getting your struts checked here and I’ll refund the $185. 🤯

I have had just about all the same issues with the service dept as everyone else is talking about. If you want to ask them a question they want to find a way to charge you. My 2020 Toyota Tundra 1794 edition is still under warranty (with every low miles at the time) and they refuse to replace the rubber trim that keeps falling off the truck, like I bought a used vehicle from the junk yard or something. The rubber is also no good and the drivers window screams when you roll it down. They told me that is because I got dirt in there. Well this was the next day from driving home from the lot I noticed it. Took it back for them to tell me they fixed it and they wanted to charge me for that too until I pitched a fit. To this day every time it gets hot the window does the same exact thing but when I cover it before it gets hot there is no issues, its the rubber going bad or is bad. literally the next day it started making that sound and now I here it in the passenger widow and I'm sure that is also dirt, can't be due to cheap quality parts used these days by Toyota. Then these guys want to charge you like it's your fault they used cheap parts. Took it in cause the recycle/fresh air button makes like a grinding noise some times and also no matter what mode you are in the air comes out the vents that faces you. Now I have had several tundra and never had that issue before. They printed me a paper saying that's normal but here is your bill for 185 dollars for inspecting. Awesome, they wont even look at possible warranty issues without telling you if we look at it and they deem it not warranty work it will be 185 dollars. Nothing has been warranty so far. Rubber falling off in the wind, screaming windows, air conditioner not working correctly and other crap all not warranty work. I was just about to schedule another appointment for real work but reading all these reviews reminds me what I keep saying to myself, why bother bringing them the business its probably time to find another shop with actual customer service so that is what I will do.

This Toyota is by far the worst I have ever been to. I purchased wiper blades as I do every year, they wanted to charge me $20 to put them on. The money is not the point. It’s the customer service. It takes 2 minutes and should be a courtesy, as it is at every other Toyota I have been to. When I questioned it, it was basically to bad this is what we do. When I asked for the telephone number to complain, I was given the wrong number. This is a Toyota that I will never return to or recommend. I have owned Toyota’s for the last 30 years and I am, by far disappointed in Vacaville Toyota. I will continue to go to Walnut Creek or Concord Toyota. They understand what customer service is and how important it is.

This service department should be the poster child for poor workmanship. Avoid this dealership for any service work. Brought my vehicle there for the free service and the fact that my parking brake didn't work. Service advisor tried to charge me for the parking brake adjustment. Once I asked the advisor to explain how 1k miles is enough to wear out the parking brake he agreed to have them look at it for free. They failed to properly fix the issue even though there's a step by step toyota service procedure written for this exact issue. I had to fix it my self. Recently I went to change my own oil, found the oil drain plug and oil filter housing extremely over tightened. It took a 2ft breaker with slow and steady pressure to remove the filter housing. Unfortunately the stress broke the filter housing. The manager refused to take ownership of their mistake on their last service. He said I used excessive force (although the impact their tech uses to put these back on is okay). Either way, how can you excessively unscrew something? The force needed to loosen is more or less directly related to the force used to tightened (again, they use impacts to remove these which is so much worse) After agreeing that the filter should not have needed that much force, he claimed that I should have stopped and paid them to do the oil change so that they could break it. He then tried to claim that I missed my 6 month service so they can't be responsible. I pointed out that I'm not required to take my vehicle in to be serviced by them and that there's no oil change for a 6 month service, It's a tire rotation. He claimed that they "inspect" the filter and would have somehow seen it was over tightened... My vehicle has 7k miles and was only serviced by them until today. They are too concerned with saving face and never financially recovering from fixing their mistake with a $40 part (that they tried to sell to me for +$130). Based on this managers attitude, this seems like a dealership that will try to violate the Magnuson-Moss Act any chance they have. I definitely would not trust them with any vehicle.

Worst service department I’ve ever seem!
They have no problem lying to you. All they want to do is general maintenance, they ignore any other issues you might have with your vehicle. Terrible service and terrible supervisors. All they want to do is make excuses why they can’t fix the issues with your car, not to mention the lies they tell you just to try and make you go away.
