Acadia Issues at Jeff Wyler
Our Acadia is 6 years old. We bought it from Jeff Wyler. It has 100,000 miles on it. We always brought it to the dealership for regular maintenance. It was great until February 10. Our battery died in our driveway. We had to jump OT yo get it there. They changed the battery, but had no time to fix the radio/electrical issue. They told me to bring it back. So, two weeks later I brought it back. They kept it for 2 days. They did not fix our radio/electrical issues. They said their building and WIFI was antiquated and unable to sufficiently support the download needed to fix our radio. After paying the diagnosis fee. They sent me home without resolving the issue. A week later I was at Home Depot, and my car wouldn?t start. I was able to get our roadside assistance to tow it back to Jeff Wyler. While at the dealership for 3 days they fixed the side impact detection system which they felt was the culprit for the non-start at Home Depot. It was a $1600 repair. We went to pick it up. Howeve, the radio/electrical issues where still prevalent. I did not take it home in fear that it would continue to have more electrical issues and drain the battery. They kept it another day and then quoted us another $1400 to have the radio replaced. We now have our Acadia at Mark Sweeney GMC in hopes they can resolve the radio/electrical issues at a reasonable price.
Pulse brake add on price is ridiculous
The dealer added Pulse brake light onto the 36k used car we wanted to buy. We did not want it for the $900 charge they added to the sale. I asked to reduce the price of the car or take it off to make the sale as I found the part to make the brake line pulse for $20 online. They quickly shuttled us out of the showroom saying sorry we couldn’t Agee on a deal. I would never buy from them or recommend them. They blew a 36k sale over trying to overcharge me for pulse brake lights.
Absolutely terrible experience! Do whatever it takes to buy your car somewhere else! I bought a car two weeks ago and they still have yet to process the correct paperwork with my bank causing me to pay an extra month for a car that I don?t even have anymore. And when signing the paperwork for the vehicle at the dealership, the sleazy finance manager attempted to hide extra fees on our paperwork that he had told us multiple times we wouldn?t be charged for (causing an couple hour delay). When they delivered the car, it was dirty, non vacuumed, and still had tape stuck to the rear bumper from the delivery truck ride to the dealership. And the best part of all of this is, the absolutely REFUSE to return my phone calls to explain any of this and where the information they ?overnighted? is. BUYER BEWARE!!!
Overall good experience
After a little effort I was given a fair trade in on my vehicle towards my new truck. Friendly staff made for a reasonable buying experience and would recommend them for future purchases.
Showed up at dealership ready to buy a truck provided it drove fine and was unable to get anyone at the dealer to help me. Do to the covid-19 stuff, the way business is conducted is different and I understand that. They have a number to call for a salesman to come outside and help you but the number on the door doesn't work. When I tried calling a generic dealership number nobody will answer either (This is very frustrating) especially because the walls to the showroom are glass, so I can see right in and notice that people are inside not paying any attention. So I decide to go home. I later make an inquiry online because I was still very interested in the truck and the online sales rep I dealt with was a total D**k Brain. He did not address my earlier problems at the dealership(which I included in the inquiry) and again didn't seam interested in selling me the truck. We proceed to email back and forth(at this point I am not a very happy person) and he is being very unprofessional. To make a long story short, He seamed way more interested arguing then selling the truck. I cannot say all Jeff Wyler's dealerships are bad but the GMC in Florence is the last place I would buy a vehicle. I would defiantly think twice before I went to a Jeff Wyler dealer if I were you.
Great service department
Great service very thorough and understand my needs
I arrived and the appointment was started on schedule. This was just an oil change and tire rotation. At the 1 hour mark I walked out to check the status of the vehicle, but no one was in service. I asked the cashier in the service area to find out information for me. 15 minutes later she still didn't even check as I was waiting at the counter. When I went back into service area they said let me check on the progress. Said should just be a few minutes. I noticed 4 other customers who arrived after me that were leaving with same oil change appointments. I went back out 15 minutes later and they asked what my car was again and name. Went back to check and said its ready. When they came out from service area said the technician couldn't call up front, but I mentioned the 4 other customers prior? This was 1 hour 35 minutes for an oil change/tire rotation. I have never been waiting so long and NO ONE came out to talk with me or say ...sorry a bit busy or anything. I would think after 95 minutes a small $5.00 off or something would be given to a customer for the wait and lack of communication? Nothing! A bit disappointed and hope future appointments I don't have to wait 95 minutes.
GMC Service experience
New Acadia oil change and pre-travel checkup. In and out in reasonable time. Everyone helpful, answered questions, kept me informed.
My wife and I went to Jeff Wyler Buick and gmc in Florence Saturday we sat down and spoke to a salesman by the name of Travis he seemed like a nice guy at first. I know I asked him 3 times what would it take to get the vehicle we were looking at and he would never give me an answer about how much they were going to sell it to us for the only thing he kept doing was trying to see how far he can beat us down on the price of our car for trade and to see how much cash he can get out of us to boot my wife and I had a 2016 Malibu car was in beautiful shape with 51k miles they only tried to give us 6k for our car he went back and talked to sales manager several times the sales manager eventually came out and I asked the sales manager if we could stop playing this cat and mouse game and he got rude with me and my wife I told the guy at that point we wanted the keys for our vehicle he went back to get our keys and when he came back he decided to try and apologize to us and you could see it on his face that he didn’t mean any of it I wouldn’t recommend these people to anyone we wound up finding the same car we wanted for 3k less and we got 9k for our car and a lifetime warranty and I was told by Jeff Wyler that I wouldn’t find a deal like that the dealership we bought our vehicle from said that they get a lot of business from Jeff wyler due to their cancerous customer service and after all this the sales person Travis from Jeff Wyler has emailed my wife twice still trying to get us to buy a car so if your looking for problems shop at Jeff Wyler cause you’ll get em. We will not be back ever at all Travis so stop emailing us.
they dont even bother to find a good rate for u they dont even delivered like they promise what a joke. Call in service was rude too
