Had a delightful recent experience with their service department . Darius took great care of my son n his car. He was very professional , helpful and friendly — quickly pinpoint the problem with our car AC n promtly took care of it . Darius even took the time to help my son get an uber ride and called me to update with the progress. I’m one happy customer and would recommend Honda of Downtown Chicago and particularly Darius 1000%. Thank you Darius!

My daughter and I came into the dealership last week to purchase a used 2017 CRV. We purchased the car, drove it home, and the next day the service engine soon light came on. We called the dealership to have them look at it, and we were told we would be charged for the service visit. Clearly their used vehicle department not only does not stand behind the products they sell, but I also believe their service team reset the light so it would not pop on during a test drive - and they sold a bum vehicle by misleading the customer. DO NOT BUY A USED VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!

Not a horrible experience with day-of service by Giovanni
Not a horrible experience with day-of service by Giovanni BUT after a 600mi trip to my hometown, I found out that although my oil change was completed, this downtown Chicago dealership managed to leave my coolant reservoir empty when part of the service includes top ups. Perhaps an honest oversight…. But when I called to speak to a service manager they insisted I leave a message no one bothered to call me back. EPIC customer service fail and possibly damaging if I didn’t happen to be getting my wipers changed. For the prices they charged, they need to do better.

Not a horrible experience with day-of service by Giovanni BUT after a 600mi trip to my hometown, I found out that although my oil change was completed, this downtown Chicago dealership managed to leave my coolant reservoir empty when part of the service includes top ups. What a mediocre experience.
What a mediocre experience. Buying my Honda certified used car not good. The buying process was OK. What happened after I purchased my car was disappointing. I drove maybe 1 block then looked up at the top driver’s side of my windshield to find a crack in the window. I Immediately pulled over and called the dealership/ sales person. I told them what I found. The sales person said you’re out of luck because you drove the car off the lot. Then talked to a “manager” that said that because it was certified used there is no way it left with a cracked windshield. Come on!! The manager said he would “look into it and get back to me. 5 days later no update. And my car insurance is being blah. Because they think the dealership should pay. So if I don’t want to drive a car with a broken windshield I might have to pay the $1100 out of pocket. No sympathy. After they get that check they just become completely not dependable. Don’t recommend. .

Very unprofessional, did not even show us the car.
Very unprofessional, did not even show us the car. Made us sit there from 7:30pm till 9pm. Had all sorts of lies prepared. Forcing upon us fees and internal warranty's. First they said the car is on the way, the salesman said it was a great car and he drove it around earlier today, and that we will love the car. Then after an hour they come back saying we won't be able to bring the car because it's not here. Then they come back and say oh we checked and there is a suspension issue so you have to pay that out of ur pocket $2000 and we will certify the vehicle. Scammers, fraudulent, bait n switch tactics, only care of their pockets not the customer. And when the customer says something they come back making you feel like you are at fault. They only want people buying from them who they can hustle out of their money. Don't waste your time. Did not show car Worked on numbers Forcing to PAY $1000 for inspection fee Forcing to PAY honda warranty 100 days / 5000 miles for $2000 Changed the warranty to SUSPENSION issue for $2000 that we have to pay Removed the car from online and said its not available since this morning Made us drive from naperville to downtown for 2 hours by saying car was there. When we got there they couldn't show the car and said it was at millineum park. Very strange people working there. They say they are helping but it's all fraudulent tactics. Tell your friends and families don't waste time.

Downtown Honda is a rip off.
Downtown Honda is a rip off. They charge you fees to look at your and then give you a price to repair your car, and once they repair it , you have to take it back for them to repair it again. The sales agent won't return your calls. Someone from dealership cut my driver side seat and no one has returned my calls regarding this incident. Stay away from Downtown Honda.

Poor phone etiquette. Drove almost 5 hours because used car manager said I was approved and I wasn’t. Wasted whole day on travel and time for nothing. I would never recommend this dealership!!!
