TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Drove all the way from OH (hour and a half with a two year old) for a vehicle I spoke with the sales person about earlier this week. Half hour before we arrived we were told that someone had come to look at it. When we arrived we were told they were on a test drive and as soon as they got back, we would be able to test drive the vehicle. We waited 2 hours until I finally had to ask what was going on. I was told that the other sales men had basically taken the car even though we had an appointment to come and test drive and now we have to wait until the sales person and the couple that stole our spot was done before we could even touch the car. The manager and Wetzel himself were on property and knew what was happening. When I confronted the Manager, I was told “I don’t care about your appointment, if you would have put money down then it would be a different story”. I wasted time, gas, and my child’s day who had to be fed their lunch in the car while we waited for someone to tell us what was going on. Not one time did anyone offer for us to come in while they figured things out or even offered an apology. I guess if you don’t look like the manager or Wetzel you business isn’t really that important to them.

Don’t go here.

Don’t go here. Price changed over 10K vs what they were advertising online. Also, they’ll try to add dealer add ons that you don’t want. Save yourself headache, go anywhere else.

I recently searched online and requested quotes from

I recently searched online and requested quotes from dealers for a 2025 Honda Pilot Touring. After some additional communication, two other dealers offered over 8% off the MSRP. Wetzel did not originally give me a quote. They were willing to sell me the vehicle at MSRP. Being a loyal Honda owner and wanting to support a local dealer again, I have Wetzel the opportunity to give a better offer. The best they were willing to do was to take close to 2% off MSRP. I ended up getting a beautiful 2025 Honda Pilot Touring from a dealer in Indianapolis at over 8% off MSRP. It is unfortunate that Wetzel is not willing to work with loyal customers.

The car they had listed was a lead generation listing.

Ask the out the door price before you buy there.

Beware of hidden charges when you go to close on your vehicle. Also check the listing of options included in their price. For example the vehicle I tried to buy there in the add it showed car mats but didn’t have any and they tried to charge me for them.

Dealer response

Hi, I'm sorry to hear your recent experience wasn't exactly what you expected. The only "hidden charges" on all used vehicles is pulse third break light, which is $299, and should be addressed by your salesperson while showing the vehicle and before numbers are presented. I'm sorry if they failed to do that. As far as the floormats go, used vehicles come as is so if there are not floormats in the vehicle when it is traded in, they're changed to the deal unless an agreement is worked out with the sales manager. If you'd let me know who you worked with and at which store I would like to make sure they don't make these mistakes again. We'd be more than happy to work with you and figure things out if you'd be willing to give us a second chance. You can reach out to me at 765-439-0311 if you have any further questions. Thank you for giving us feedback on how we can improve we always appreciate it!

The responsiveness was superb and the service was also.

The responsiveness was superb and the service was also. The vehicle was ready when we arrived and the financial dept was very well prepared. We were offered extras and options but never pressured. All in all a very good experience. The 80 mile trip was worth, we would recommend this dealer and personnel to anyone.

Horrible place!!

Horrible place!! If I could give a negative rating I would! We are from out of state. Our car broke down and we were towed to this place. We were then told that it may be "a week or 2" before they could even take a look at it or even work on it. No offer to help in any other way...Basically the attitude was "oh well, not our problem". I understand "staffing" issues but it was the rude and uncaring attitude that was unacceptable!

Buyer Beware!!

Be prepared for the new car buying experience. To summarize my experience, "we are short on cars due to some chip issue, I don't care if you buy it someone else will." The "new" car I looked at had 3500 miles was obviously used as a demo and one model year old. I asked how much they can deal on this one and was told zero. The sticker is the price. Finally, as someone that has bought many cars from multiple dealers, I can recognize scams. But this dealership takes it to a new level. They take popular models of Honda, which sell themselves, and add aftermarket parts such as horrible leather seats and charge a bundle for these aftermarket options. They advertise the MSRP, then some cars have over 4000K of options added. For no reason, these are Hondas, they are great!! Don't mess with them!!! Will Never go back!!
