This was hands down the best car-buying experience I’ve ever had. I was coming out of a really stressful situation after my previous car was totaled, and Matt and Chuck truly took care of me. They worked so hard behind the scenes to make the numbers work and get me into a 2026 Trax ACTIV at an incredible price. I felt respected, supported, and never pressured. They listened to my situation and really went the extra mile to help me. I honestly feel like they gave me a deal that set me up for success, not just a sale. I’m so grateful for their help and would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with a positive review of your experience with Matt and Chuck. We are pleased to hear that our team made your visit pleasant and we look forward to seeing you again! Wishing you many happy and safe miles.
Just returned from Freeway Chevrolet and wanted to share what a great experience it was! I was there to support a friend who was purchasing her second vehicle from there. Her sales person was Matthew both times. I highly recommend him. Make sure Chuck the sales manager is also involved in your deal. Matthew and Chuck are two of the most standup guys you will ever work with. They are straight-forward, honest, transparent, and will make you a great deal. It was a truly enjoyable experience and is a direct reflection of of Matthew and Chuck's efforts. If you're in the market and they have a vehicle that fits your needs, I highly recommend giving them a shot at earning your business.

Was told it would take 24-48 hours for diagnostic test. Was given no car to rent.Actually took 72 hours test because they were "so busy".Long story short, they kept car 8 days, was charged for diagnostic test, found out check engine light was on because of weak battery.First test they should have done.Thieves!!!

Hello Nora Waddle, Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience you experienced during your visit. We understand how upsetting it is to be without your vehicle longer than expected, especially when communication and expectations do not align. Our goal is always to provide timely, transparent, and professional service, and it’s clear we fell short in your experience. We take your concerns regarding the diagnostic process, repair timeline, and overall communication very seriously. Feedback like yours helps us identify where we need to improve. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and would welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly to better understand the situation and work toward making things right. Best Regards, Freeway Chevrolet
I recently sought assistance with a vehicle acquisition, and Jerry provided exceptional support in identifying the optimal and most cost-effective option available. I am highly satisfied with my selection.

We greatly appreciate your business and we are very happy to hear that you had such a good experience at our dealership.
Matt S the service manager went above and beyond any expectations I had as I was traveling from Dallas when my transmission started acting up and he fought to get everything covered under my extended warranty and did the work in a timely manor. He also gave me daily updates while waiting for the parts to get in.

Thank you for your review! We are happy to see that you had a good experience with Matt. It is always our goal to give all of our clients the best experience possible and ensure that all of your vehicle needs are met.
I had a terrible experience with Jacob Mecham at Freeway Chevy. He was rude, dishonest, and sarcastic about the damage to my C8 Corvette tail light. Jacob first admitted that he and his service team altered and deleted information, then claimed hairline cracks in my tail light came from “car wash soap.” Later he said he didn’t know how the cracks happened—but still refused to cover it under warranty. There was no impact or other damage on my vehicle, yet he accused me of breaking my own light. To make matters worse, when I voiced my frustration, he said I was “throwing a temper tantrum.” This level of disrespect and lack of accountability is unacceptable. If you value honesty, professionalism, and proper customer service, stay far away from Freeway Chevy and Jacob Mecham.

Unacceptable Experience – Dishonest Service Department If I could give a negative star rating, I would. My recent experience with the service department at Freeway was extremely disappointing and frustrating. I brought in my 2019 Chevrolet Silverado due to a brake issue. The diagnosis was a bad brake master cylinder, which was fortunately covered by the extended warranty I purchased (a nearly $3,000 repair). However, the service advisor, Matt Shakespeare, told me that all the brakes and rotors were completely shot due to this issue and quoted me $1,894.57 to replace them all. That seemed very overpriced, so I let him know I’d be looking elsewhere. Initially, he appeared to understand. I later found a reputable shop willing to do the same work for $1,100—still not cheap, but significantly more reasonable. Once I informed Matt, he suddenly dropped the price to $1,300. I appreciated the gesture but had already decided to go with the other shop. Here’s where the real issue begins: Matt then called back and told me that if I didn’t have the brake and rotor work done at Freeway, it would void my warranty. This didn’t sound right, so I contacted my warranty provider, MPP (Mechanical Protection Plan), directly—not once, but three separate times. Each time, they confirmed this was false. No such condition exists in my warranty coverage. At that point, it became clear I was being misled—pressured to complete the work under false pretenses. That is unethical and unacceptable. When I confronted Matt about this, he backpedaled and said he was just trying to keep me safe. But honesty and trust are critical, especially when it comes to safety and expensive repairs. If he had simply been honest from the start, I may have given Freeway my business. But the blatant lie ruined any trust I had. To make matters worse, even the warranty company recommended I ask Freeway for written documentation stating that failure to complete the brake/rotor job with them would void the warranty. Of course, no such document exists—because it’s not true. You know something’s wrong when the warranty company is more transparent than the dealership. This kind of dishonest behavior has no place in a customer service environment. I will not be returning, and I strongly advise others to approach this service department with caution.
