Service Work

Had my first oil change today on an Equinox I bought in March. The first oil change was free along with tire rotation and they also handled a small recall item that I received from GM after my purchase. They don't schedule service work, and I was concerned there may be quite a wait. Pleasantly surprised I was able to get in within 15 minutes of my arrival and all service work, including tire rotation and the recall item were completed in about an hour. Very pleased with service work and amount of time needed to complete everything. Thank you!

Electrical problem with my car

My car broke down in Sioux Falls. I called Billion Chevrolet and Reina from the Green Team was very helpful. She is very knowledgeable and explained what was wrong with my car and then called for a loaner car. When none were available, she took it upon herself to find me one from their lot. She went over and above her job to make sure that what was a stressful situation for me turned out to be a good experience. Thank you, Reina!

Great transaction

I was treated very well. They answered all my questions and gave me all the info on the pickup I wanted. They made me a fair deal and fixed a couple things.

I will never use this dealership.

I will never use this dealership. When I saw a car that I liked, I clicked on it and then remembered that I'd received a letter from them advising that they work with people who'd had a bankruptcy. After a little discussion with their rep via text message discussing features of the car I liked, I was told that they would check with their bank to see what they could do. I asked him specifically if they would do a hard pull as I didn't want that...I was trying to rebuild my credit and a hard pull would affect that. I was told no, it would only he a soft pull since I wasn't actually applying for a loan. Gave my info and was again reassured it wouldn't be a hard pull or credit application. He messaged me back a minute later to tell me, in a very condescending tone, that Id need either a strong cosigner or a pretty hefty down-payment....Within a couple minutes later, I began getting alerts that their banks had done a hard pull credit application. I was very upset as this lowered my score by a few points..and texted the rep to ask about it...he said it was impossible since I hadn't applied for a loan with a specific vehicle and that it must be from another dealership I'd been dealing with. I then texted him a screenshot showing the hard pull with the Billion name and that day's date on it. I received ZERO response. That was just over a week ago and I have not received any response at all, no apologies or acknowledgement that he'd LIED to me and did the hard pull.

We apologize your experience with our finance department was frustrating, and that you feel you were not treated fairly during your discussion with our finance person. We are usually pretty careful about doing a hard pull to confirm any credit, we should have been more clear about having to do any further credit check to try and get a lender to approve your application. Thank you for giving us an opportunity, we will be reviewing our procedure for obtaining a credit score prior to submitting a credit application to a lender!

Great service!

The service department did a great job! We had heated seats put in our 22 Chevy blazer. Prompt service and installed in about a hour. Would definitely recommend.
