2019 GLC 43 AMG under CPO which had a factory defective

2019 GLC 43 AMG under CPO which had a factory defective MOONROOF which leaked and corroded amplifier control unit. $8600 to repair and told that this failure in workmanship is not covered. Beware buying a CPO and be sure that they warranty moonroof as dealer claims it happens frequently. Nice little revenue booster for slow summer repairs.

Serguei was our salesman and was very efficient and respectful from start to finish and even after the sale. He brought a personal touch to the entire transaction and followed up several times with us over the 5 to 6 weeks after the sale.

I contacted the dealership to speak with service

I contacted the dealership to speak with service regarding a SL450 that we took ownership of that day. Having been stored for a period, it had several issues, particularly with a malfunction of the Vario-Roof that we were unsure how to handle. Michael Ghiris was outstanding in explaining and helping identify ways to resolve the issues. He even offered to travel to us to help resolve the issues. While this was an incredible offer, I could not accept due to pre-scheduled meetings. Instead, we later drove the vehicle to the dealership. On arrival, Michael warmly greeted us and even obtained support from a very talented technician who quickly adjusted roof mechanism to resolve the issue. Michael went above all expectation to ensure we were satisfied, even though we technically were not a customer nor had an appointment. He was very personable and demonstrated both his professionalism and care for us as Mercedes owners. If you have the chance to utilize Mercedes Benz of Fort Myers service center, I highly recommend Michael. Thank you.
