Dylan was a huge help in the buying process and was able to get me into a lower mileage A6 than the sales rep at Audi Bellevue was pressuring me to finance thru their dealership (pre-approved already 😎). The snacks didn’t hurt either!

Initially dealership seemed good.

Initially dealership seemed good. Responded to my inquiry quickly but that’s where the good ended. Explained over the phone our price point and was told that they could be there no problem. Was then pressured relentlessly to come to the dealership that day despite telling them my family was busy and we already had plans that evening. Finally cut off work early and took family to see car. This was to be my sons first car btw. Arrived dealership and they had car waiting. Car was nice and as described. After a short test drive, we were asked if we wanted to close deal. Seeing as we were already late for our evening we said ok as we were told since we had already discussed price point it would only be.a few minutes so we agreed. On the phone we were promised that they could reach 25k-28k. First offer they presented us was for over 35K. We then re-informed them that we needed to be in our price point. Did the dealer/manager dance a few times and after removing all extras and warranties and never actually lowering the car price the came back at just over 30K. Made our final offer of 28,900. Sales back to manager and then a tirade of f bombs came from the office that was clearly audible in front of my wife and son. Then, just to spite us, the manager told our salesman to present us with 29,999.99 to tell us that “there, it’s under 30”. I have never felt so disrespected in a dealership, especially a luxury brand. My family and I have been to numerous luxury dealerships and have always been treated like royalty even when we didn’t buy. Here I feel we were intentionally deceived on price to get us in the door, our time was not respected, and wether it was sales tactic or whatever it was the f bombing and cursing in front of customers is ridiculous. Lastly the offer of 29999.99 was a downright insult. The icing on the cake was that they called me the next day to see if we could reach a deal. I was actually in the middle of sending a complaint to supposedly the GM. I informed the salesperson I was doing so and explained why and was told that is just how the business is. I did send the complaint in and never received a response or an apology which for me speaks volumes. Do yourself a favor, skip University and go to Tacoma Audi or Infinity. Exponentially better customer service and buying experience.

Classic bait and switch pricing.

Classic bait and switch pricing. I went down to check out a 2019 Audi e-tron listed for sale at $38,000. First, I was trading emails with someone asking what the out-the-door price would be and getting quoted around $42,000. I wanted to stay in the low 40s, so I shopped around for a couple of days. I found the same Audi e-tron University Audi had but it was in Bellevue. The only difference was the mileage; the one at University Audi had around 14,000 fewer miles than the Audi e-tron in Bellevue. I leaned more toward the University Audi because it was a CPO e-tron with less mileage. When I showed up at the University Audi, we did the standard test drive, talked about the features, etc. The salesperson was okay but didn't want to listen. I was already pre-approved through my credit union, so when we started talking numbers, he kept pushing to finance through them, which was a higher APR. He kept saying that the 14,000 mileage difference was immense and that he wouldn't do it because the other Audi e-tron had "too many miles." Their Audi had 22,000, while the other one had 36,000. When we got the numbers, the Audi e-tron listed at $38,000 was now $47,000. When I asked why the car had jumped this much, they explained all these add-ons I didn't want. A $1,000 for some interior Scotchguard, an anti-theft package where if someone stole the car, they would cut me a check for $2,000 or something along those lines. (I'm pretty sure that's what insurance is for.)I told them where I needed to be at a price, and we kept hovering around 44-45k. I mentioned my max was $43,000, more than enough to cover the tax, title, and other fees. And they kept pushing that I was "only" around $1,500 off and to come up. I walked away because it started becoming the classic car salesman game. As we were leaving, the salesperson tried to ask us again what our bottom price would be, and they were "talking to the GM." Again, I said $43,000, and they told me they couldn't do it. The next day, I got the other Audi in Bellevue for an out-the-door price of $39,499. It took me 30 minutes to discuss it, give them my pre-approval, and complete the paperwork. I had the e-Tron I bought looked over by a mechanic, and since it was a lease return, nothing was wrong with it. Overall, if you're looking to waste time and play the classic back-and-forth salesperson to Manager xx, then University Audi Lynnwood is the place for you.

DO NOT BUY

The worst dealership I have ever work with! I bought a pre-owned vehicle from them, but after three months, I still don’t receive the license plate from them. Every time I send the message, the sales person called Hector never replies to me. I have to call the sales manager in order to get an update. They even lie to me that is a DMV issue, but it turns out they sold me a vehicle that they have not get the title from the previous owner. Do not buy with them if you have any other options!

Great buying experience!

I called ahead to ask my sales associate, Jon Pollock, to hold a newly advertised certified Q7 for 4 hours while I drove from Portland to Seattle. Jon went out of his way to accommodate me and assured me the car would be waiting. He was friendly, engaging, and absolutely knowledgeable about the product he sales. During the test drive, I was given a brief summary of the features the car had and after returning to the dealership, I was given a more detailed explanation of the Q7’s amenities. The price was more than fair, the car was better than advertised, and financing got an interest rate for me that was lower than my own credit union offered. University Audi Lynwood provided a luxury experience from first call to driving off the lot. Best experience I have ever had at a dealership!! Thanks again Ron. Shawn
