Amazing Service

Although I did not ultimately make a purchase the team at Platinum went above and beyond to make our experience as smooth as possible. Will definitely be looking to buy from them in the future.

"The Best" we wanted to sell our 2021 Mercedes gl550. We started at Bellevue Mercedes, where we bought it new then went to Carmax and three others. All sweetness, until I had to say NO to a Lemon!

Due to a lot of good reviews commenting on the pleasing P.R. of this company, I decided to check out a couple SUV's. (I'm more like 2 1/2 stars) John was helpful, friendly, answered questions, didn't hover at all. Test drove 2 autos, with my daughter. The next day I returned with another friend to compare the Lexus SUV with a car I'd driven at another dealer. We both really liked the comfort & ride of the Lexus. They (Platinum) were more than willing to let you have a vehicle tested out by an independent mechanic. They tried to get me to use one of theirs, which would be $140-150. Luckily those were all booked up. A little "iffy" with them maybe in cahoots together.... I preferred going to my own mechanic, who I've gone for a number of years & trust implicitly. Plus he only charges $108.21 for a thorough 1 1/2-2 hr inspection. When we went to pick up the car, he says "NO WAY" on this one! He explains in detail & provides me with a TWO PAGE print-out of all the serious problems! These would add up to several thousand dollars! I then returned the car & suddenly John was not so "sweet" & smiling anymore. He disparaged my (& all) mechanic saying all mechanics just are in it to make money & will tell you things you don't need! (Does this apply to "their" mechanics???) That logic is flawed right from the get-go! If that were true about my mechanic, he would have told me the car was fine, so that he could make big bucks doing the repairs! I've also written to the PR department with more details of the exchange. I've recommended that salespeople put themselves in the customers' shoes & try using some kindness & empathy even when, and especially so, when the answer has to be NO to a purchase. Their responses in that situation can have a big impact on whether a customer may...or may NOT...want to return at a later date. I'm sorry, but I won't be! I'm really curious at to whether they will be honest with the next person looking at that car (supposedly there are other interested in it), & tell them what it needs. I guess that why used car dealers have the AS IS sticker on the cars: it absolves them of any responsibility!

Great service!

Business was clean and welcoming. Process with Brian was a breeze! He was busy and he did not hover, yet attentative. We were there a total of 2 hours, including 2 test drives. Questions were answered honestly and issues were addressed quickly. Very pleased so far.

Excellent customer service!

Very professional, both over the phone and in person. No haggling, pressure, or fast talking and both gentlemen were friendly and approachable. Bought my sweet Mini Cooper cash and the dealer was honest about any issues with the used car, which was greatly appreciated. Only needed to replace a headlight bulb and turn signal switch, so for a 2003, that’s pretty amazing! Could tell they actually did an inspection and maintenance on the car because the oil was a clear golden color, clean antifreeze, air filter ect. HIGHLY recommend these folks for their honesty and trustworthiness! Whole deal done in about an hour. Thank you so much, I’m genuinely pleased! (And thanks for the Dr. Pepper)
