Unfair Interest Rate
I was sold a Mercedes-Benz 2015 E-350 (OLD Man's Car). I was told because of my credit that, that was the only car I could get. I am a young woman and made the mistake of looking for a car without a family member or friend. I was pressured into purchasing a car that I did not want and could not afford. They charged me more than the car was worth with an annual percentage rate of 18.250%., The New York State Civil Usury rate is 16%. I will end of paying more than double the purchase price of the vehicle by the time the final payment is made. When I realized my mistake, I was basically told, "Too bad" . This has been one of the worst experiences of my young life.

To address your concerns: (1) Lenders/ banks approve loans based on the severity of your credit history. We the dealer ship do no set the interest rate. Hence your complain regarding the rate you are paying has to do with your credit history and payment history with other creditors. (2) The price of the vehicle does not go up due to what interest rate you pay, you can always pay it off or refinance and not pay all the finance charges to the lender/ bank. (3) The NYS capped rate for financing is 25.00 %. Again we are NOT the lender and we do not set the rates. It is our procedure to go over all options available to you as our valued customer, and you chose this path. We would love to reach out to you and seek any resolution possible.
