I flew to Dallas to look at two vans.
I flew to Dallas to look at two vans. One at a different dealership. I ended up buying from the other dealership just because of interior styling preference but my interaction with Texas Cars Direct was good. Multiple previous phone conversations went well. I was well informed and communicated my needs clearly and they responded in a professional and accommodating manner. I did the test drive by myself and pointed out my concerns, some of which were my own misunderstandings of the cars features. As long as you know about the TCD program, you won’t have any surprises. I’d shop here again.

Buyers beware!
Buyers beware!!!!! I tried to get a deal done remotely over the phone and internet. I noticed a fee listed on their website labeled TCD Advantage program. When I questioned what that was I was told that it is basically a 3 year protection package and it could not be removed. I stated to the salesman that i did not want or need that add on and wanted him to speak with someone about removing it. He got back to me and stated that his GM said that the package could not be removed so i was told I could not buy the card without purchasing that package. I also spoke to the GM Kyle Murphy who reiterated that to me. That is illegal. A dealer in Texas cannot force a customer to purchase any add on products, especially warranties or protection packages that the customer says they don't want. They cannot make it a condition of the purchase. So, if you bought from here already, you got screwed and can reach out to the TEXAS Department of Motor Vehicles and file a complaint against the dealership and try to get some money back. https://www.txdmv.gov/complaints. No, a car dealer in Texas cannot legally force you to purchase a protection package with a used vehicle. Dealers may offer these packages, but they must disclose them clearly and allow you to decline them if you wish. If a dealer insists that a protection package is mandatory, it could be considered a deceptive trade practice. The Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA) protects consumers from misleading or unfair business practices, including forced add-ons. If you feel pressured into purchasing a package you don't want, you can report the dealer to the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) or seek legal advice

On January 29th I inquired about a vehicle that I was serious about purchasing. The sales person I spoke with was less than enthusiastic about selling it to me due to the fact that I was an out of state buyer. However he went thru the process of approving me for a loan to purchase the vehicle. At the time my credit rating was in good standing and at a preferred rate for lending. Upon discussion of how my credit was to be run the sales person informed me that they would only run it through 1 bureau which I agreed to. This process took a bit of time. However upon my approval the sales rep stated that another sales rep had taken a deposit on the very vehicle I was interested in and therefore it was no longer available. With in a couple days of my credit being ran, I received a notice from the credit bureau that my credit had been run 3 different times thru 3 different lenders, thus reducing my credit score from preferred lending. To make things worse.. I was looking for the same kind of car a couple weeks later and the vehicle I had been told was in the process of being sold was still in fact available. As far as I am concerned this company is very MISLEADING and VERY DISHONEST!! My recommendation is to RUN from companies that lack such honesty and integrity.

I contacted a salesman we discussed the price, I never
I contacted a salesman we discussed the price, I never tried to get him down any it was Friday night at 6:03 they close at 6:00 and are closed all weekend I told him I would be there Monday morning at 9:00 AM when they open he said if it’s still on the website it’s still available. I arrived at 8:45 AM I waited for them to get it out of a warehouse it was blocked in , then we took it for a ride I liked it and was going to buy it we started filling out some information and the salesman went to get some more information when he came back he said the owner of the dealership sold it Saturday when the were closed. I have never seen anything like it I took the day off work and drove two hours there and wasted my time test driving etc. I would never go there unless you live really close because you may be wasting a lot of time and money. Very poor customer service to pull a stunt like that

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!
DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! I highly advise against purchasing a vehicle from Texas Cars Direct. Within just 90 days of owning my car, I have to replace the turbocharger, battery, brakes, struts, and have the alignment corrected—issues that should have been addressed and fixed before the sale. Shortly after purchasing the vehicle, I noticed squeaking from the brakes and took my car to BMW, that's where I was informed about all the issues. I took it to get a second opinion and was told the exact same thing, so I returned to Texas Cars Direct to speak with Kyle, asking why these issues weren't identified during the pre-purchase inspection. He admitted that they no longer conduct thorough inspections as they had in the past. When I requested assistance, given that the problems were pre-existing and that I had just made my first payment on the car I was still told no. The customer service was unhelpful, sketchy and I’m now left with a car that I’m deeply upside down on financially, facing over $10,000 in repair costs. I strongly recommend avoiding this dealership—my experience has been nothing short of disappointing. AGAIN DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!

We apologize for issues that you have encountered with your BMW. After 4 months and almost 10,000 miles, there wasn't much that we could have assisted with here. This vehicle was sold as is, and a vehicle service contract was declined by the buyer. Warranties on a pre-owned vehicle are highly recommended and can potentially save owners thousands of dollars on unexpected repairs.
I never hear from them no respond ….

These guys do not know how to keep there word and their ethics are poor at very best. I bought a car and rather than take care of a loyal ambassador for their company like i was, they turned their back on me when i needed help. That is ok though because i will be seeing them soon in court.

DO NOT GO HERE.
DO NOT GO HERE. Especially if you’re black or brown. They are RACIST. As you can see all of the positive reviews are from White ppl. Not only that, highly unprofessional. I wish I could give 0 stars I brought my car to be sold, after months of them hassling me to bring the car. This was a car my father left to me when he passed away. Long story short, they ruined the door panels of my car. My car looked worst leaving then it came, and they refused to pay. It’s a bunch of racist white ppl who look at black and brown ppl’s property like trash. The worst experience I’ve ever dealt with! Not only did you not want to pay for damages but ruined a precious Heirloom my deceased father left to me.
