Stay away from this Dealership!

BUYER BEWARE! Pay attention to the negative reviews. I do not recommend buying a vehicle at this dealership. I believe their discounts for trading and financing are used to create deception with their pricing. Last week I traded my vehicle in on a used SUV. I decided I would finance 100% of the purchase price and receive a check back net of my loan payoff. Big mistake as my trade was effectively handled separate from my purchase with no official documentation. In the end my loan proceeds were based on a lower trade value than what I was quoted. Unfortunately, I left the dealership without catching the error or getting a copy of the paperwork with the initial trade offer. After contacting the dealership the only explanation I received for the change was tax savings and the trade discount, which had already been factored into the purchase. Management was unprofessional laughing at my concerns actually threatening to put a stop payment on my proceeds check for questioning the numbers. They were also happy to point out I had no documentation to support my claim and based on what I had and they didn’t have to pay me anything more. Separate from the trade issue during the purchase process they showed the vehicle to another family in effort to pressure the sale. Also, the salesperson misrepresented the vehicle stating it had AWD after I asked the question. I won’t be back to this dealership ever.

2021 Denali service

Appointment was at 12pm. I was getting an oil change filter change and safety inspection. Truck was done in less than an hour. Second time taking my vehicle to this dealership. So far no issues.

No Transparency

Found a listing on cars.com and got pre-qualified to purchase. In coordinating the loan, payment and delivery I couldn’t get exact specifics on the vehicle nor the financing details. When this was questioned and requested 3 times I researched the VIN and the bank rate finding the rate was 4.8% higher than a competitor and the cars original sticker priced $25k below their asking price. The car has $10-12k of modifications but has been driven 3,000 miles so the car was priced above 120% of the cars value. The lack of information and transparency forced me to go with another dealership.

Excellent Customer Service

This is the 2nd vehicle I have purchased from this dealership and both times I felt like I got a deal. When I bring my care back for service, they are always warm and welcoming. Griffin Buick GMC

This dealership did not fix my car leaking coolant the first time and after paying $900 for a coolant flush and a water outlet that was not needed I was told to continue to drive the car after I called them 5 minutes after I left and was told the smell from the leaking antifreeze was just residual coolant on the motor from the repair made. I continued to drive the car and my heat stopped working. I then knew that the car was still leaking. I took the car back to Griffin Buick where they didn?t offer any refund for the wrong work performed and wanted to charge me almost $1400 for the vehicle to be repaired with leaks in 3 places, around the water pump and reservoir. I then said no thanks and got another reputable mechanic to fix my car correctly for $1080. I wouldn?t recommend Griffin Buick to anyone and if I could give less than 1 star for repair work, I would. We value you as a customer and do value your feedback. I don't believe that we had changed out the wrong part but just the most obvious leak at the time that we inspected the vehicle for this issue. With a sealed system that builds pressure the next weakest link can present itself after the system has run to full operating temperature and now builds more pressure then it was prior to the first repair this can at times happen instantly or over a period of time weeks or months. You are correct in stating it can probably be fixed elsewhere cheaper, we use the GM certified and warrantied parts here that do cost a little more but hold a better warranty with GM. We are more than willing to explain in further detail If you would give us the opportunity to do so, as we do not want to lose you as a customer. Satisfied Customer

My new Buick is excellent. Griffin Motor Company, Inc. is a nice relaxed dealership that is extremely professional. My sales person, Tyler, was great to work with. Very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. This is my second Buick and I truly feel Buick is a superior product and so, I feel like I could one day return to purchase another Buick from Griffin Motor Company, Inc. because my experience was very pleasant and considering I live on the eastern half on North Carolina it was well worth the journey!
