Very impressed and highly satisfied with the car shopping

Very impressed and highly satisfied with the car shopping and buying experience. We have shopped for and purchased many vehicles over the years ? different cities, different dealerships. We have walked off of lots and out of the salesman?s office when the salesman or his manager or the finance team have employed tactics that: stall, delay, pressure, rush, trick, hide, condescend, lie. Our experience with Mooresville Ford was exceptional, from start to finish. The salesmen immediately greeted us and then respectfully went away when we said ?We are just looking right now, we?ll call you when we are ready.? When we were ready, Scott Speagle was phenomenal. Answered questions, arranged the test drive without fuss, expertly navigated the test drive. And Scott was exceptional throughout the purchasing process ? from when we sat down at his desk to discuss, through paperwork, and to ?Thank you; it?s been a pleasure; Here are the keys to your car.? Scott was a pleasure ? knowledgeable, courteous, respectful, thorough, thoughtful, understanding, patient, cooperative, diligent ? an Ultimate Professional ? in the car selling industry. Scott?s a gem among rare gems and rampant rocks. Lucas Coffman - ?The finance guy? ? also demonstrated outstanding knowledge, service, interest, attention, and care. Ray Wood ? ?The manager? ? provided fantastic support and care to Scott, Lucas, and us to turn this shopper into a buyer. Very impressed and highly satisfied with Scott, Lucas, Ray of Mooresville Ford.

Douglas R. Hamilton

We've had awesome experiences at Mooresville Ford for over 20 years, and have never had anything to complain about. We now live in Burlington, N.C. which is a 2-hour drive from them, and we still go to Mooresville Ford to trade with them; they're just that good, and they're like family.

Great Dealership

Started with chat online, then visiting and purchasing my new car. Fantastic dealership, by far the easiest and fastest purchase we have made.

GO SOMEHERE ELESE!

We bought an Outter Banks Bronco Sport from Mooresville Ford on 2022. Ordered in February and didn't get until July! Yes, there's been supply issues, but the issues we've had are that in 1st month, the brakes began squeeling at baking up and the back lift gate wouldn't unlock with key in pocket/purse. In December there was also a recall on the drain tube- A TUBE WE DIDN'T HAVE. It seems Ford decided to sell cars and allow them out without necessary parts in order to meet the demand. Did they disclose this? Nope! Seems their plan was to let the vehicles go and recall later to add a missing part. Fine. (Not fine). Mooresville Ford - did THEY reach out to me to schedule this recall? Nope. I did. And it took 4 months to have it addressed. They picked the car up on March and brought back saying they had to order the parts (didn't they know they were addressing the recall and have the parts? Nope. According to the service guy Lonnie, they have to verify it's needed, THEN order, so you're out your vehicle 2x's. Stupid? YES! My main gripe is however, that he told me he'd have all the parts in a day or 2. Weeks went by, zero communication. I Starr reaching out again. Really terrible communication. Now it's nearly 2 months later and it's FINALLY been addressed (at least I HOPE so!). I asked for a courtesy car wash both times. And the guy doing the valet at pick up, told me he'd ask to have it done. At drop off I asked if it was, and he said they don't do them, they're too busy (ummm, doing what? Not many cars being sold these days!). I had a loaner, but didn't need to drive it. Had I, I'd have needed to add gas. Did they add gas to MY vehicle, NOPE. The last time they had it, they'd said they were going to TRY to fix the lift gate issue. But while it worked for a few weeks, the issue came back. Clearly they didn't know what was causing it, as they'd told me as much, and thus they didn't know if the things they'd tried would stick. They didn't. We'll see this time! Idk if the breaks still squeek, I'll find out when I back out of my driveway. I only got into the loaner to pull it down our driveway as he'd parked up at the street, and noticed the seats moved for me automatically. When you are getting a service, you're told if you need anything to reply to the specific text. I did. I asked about this and 1 other thing. Did I receive ANY response? NOPE! ZERO Communication. I asked to that text why my vehicle seats didn't automatically move. No response. So I looked on line, and low and behold the 2022 seats aren't an auto memory, so I guess the loaner was a 2023! I suppose they were all out of those parts when making the vehicles in 2022 so they just didn't bother to add a pretty standard feature to a vehicle/ trim that is considered fairly luxury! The experience with Mooresville Ford service compared to others I've dealt with (Chrysler (grade A)and Nissan (grade A), gets a D! Ford has not made me feel valued, listened to and certainly not a priority. The ONLY good thing I can offer is their valet service is a great option as they'll pick up your vehicle (and if a loaner is available leave that), and bring it back. So that's the 1 positive I have. Overall, not happy with Lonnie or Ford!

Review of purchase and process

Purchased a car for my daughter. Dealt with salesman Scott Speagle. As a professional medical sales senior director, I have seen it all. Scott was incredibly nice to work with and was very low pressure and helpful. I really enjoyed his personal touch and ?folksy? down to earth personality. Also dealt with Dylan Ladner the Finance Manager who was also very good to work with. Two breaths of fresh air in the car buying experience. Would recommend Mooresville Ford to anyone looking to purchase a new or pre owned vehicle
