They only care to sell the cars. Once you get the car their customer service is xxxx. I (a woman) go there to get the oil changes on my challenger and... they make jokes that it's my husbands car or when they saw scratches on the wheels which my husband made they didn't believe me and joked about it and they schedule you for service when specialists are not there and promise a rental and don't deliver.

I recently leased a Jeep & worked with John Puleo.. His knowledge was so helpful. Every question I raised, was explained in great detail. He was available... to me 24-7 by cell phone, even after the purchase. I went to other dealerships and didn't get the service or professionalism that I received from him, Thanks again! Pat V.
I've always dreaded shopping for a new car and having to deal with sales people pressuring you for the sale. Until I worked with Vito Scavo at Herb Chambers... in Danvers. He was friendly, knowledgeable and patient. He listened to me and what I was looking for and took the time to answer my questions. His personality shows that he enjoys his job and he is very good at it. I am beyond satisfied with the purchase of my Jeep Cherokee and the service I received from Vito. He made it a stress free car buying experience which is something I never thought would ever be possible. Also a shout out to George who was extremely helpful and very nice. I have called, texted, sent messages online and nobody has responded. I have heard bad things about this dealership from other consumers, but they seem... to have a good inventory of vehicles. I am highly frustrated by the lack of customer service.

I want to thank Rob for all the help on purchasing my new vehicle. Rob took me out to the car showed me a few things about the car I didn't now. I traded... in my older car in toward The new car. Horrible service experience. Brought my jeep in for inspection sticker, oil change and tire rotation. Received call saying everything was done and went... to pick up where I paid and received a receipt showing everything was completed. Went to get my jeep and noticed that it was missing a lug nut and had no inspection sticker. Brought this to attention of service department and was asked to show tech who worked on car which lug was missing. At this point, was asked to wait while they completed the inspection and put the lug on. Over an hour later, I am now told by the same tech who needed me to show him the missing lug nut that he noticed the car was missing the lug nut when I brought it in. I am also now being told that the inspection sticker could not be given due to a crack in the windshield. A crack that was repaired years ago and which has been there for previous inspections by this same dealer. Also, if the lug was missing when I brought it in and the inspection was a problem why wasn't I told when they called to say everything was done. Also, why would they be comfortable with me driving the car away if it was missing a lug nut as that would seem to be a safety issue. I understand mistakes can be made, but lying about them just leaves me doubting the entirety of the service being performed. So disappointed.
I think it was the best car buying experience I've ever had. Everything went smooth and Mr. Scavo is an incredible asset to your company. I love my new... Jeep and I think in the future Mr Scavo will always be the salesman I turn to and trust to purchase a new vehicle.
I am in the market for a used Fiat so I thought I'd drop in to speak to a salesman. First, Herb Chambers specifies that you must be masked to enter and... when I did most of the staff were unmasked and did not have their mouths and nose covered. Beyond that, I walked around and there were several sales people on the floor, but not one asked me if they could help me so after a few minutes I slipped out the side door. My father owned a restaurant for over 35 years, and he drilled it in my head to always acknowledge the customer, no matter what I was in the middle of doing. It is highly unlikely that I will venture back, but I did think it was important for upper management to know.

Didn't want to do this but I have to. Had my car towed to Herb Chambers because of a noise that was coming from the car. I felt the car was not safe to... drive. The Service department is something to be desired. The tell me they took it for a ride and did not hear anything. I persisted and had them take it for another ride, they still say they don't hear anything and the car did not throw a "code". "Maybe a slight noise coming from a hub" Well then you did hear a noise, I say to Colby. He tells me that I can take the car home yesterday and if it's still making the noise to bring it back today (Friday). I called right at 8:30 Colby is off. So I asked the woman on the phone to talk to someone else because I need to get my car in there today. She says well no because we are already booked straight out. Not to mention they hung up 3 times on my husband when he called. What kind of customer service is this? Do they not want to work on my car because I purchased at a different dealer and do not want to honor warranty work? I took my car to another dealer to look at the car, They heard the noise found that the prop shaft needs to be replaced. I will never take my car to Herb Chambers again and would not recommend them to anyone.
I'm sorry to hear you really just don't care. If this is how the service department runs. I recommend everyone to not bring their car in for any type ...of service.
Don't be tricked by this dealer they tried to sell me an almost 2 year old new car leftover for sticker price zero discount I've never heard of such a... thing car is worth at least 10k less if your goal is to get robbed this is the place for you.
